THE SSC CPO (Central Police Organization) Exam is a national-level examination conducted annually to
recruit thousands of candidates for the posts of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, and
Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF. The selection of the candidates is done through various stages such as
Online examination, PET/PST and medical examination.

SSC CPO 2024 Eligibility Criteria

SSC CPO Age Limit
Candidates interested in applying for SSC CPO 2024 must be between the ages of 20 and 25. However,
individuals from specific categories may be eligible for age relaxation, extending the upper age limit.

SSC CPO Educational Qualification
Candidates can check complete educational qualifications for SSC CPO 2024 exam here.
 A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
 For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates must possess a valid Driving
License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

 Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts A, B, and C of Paper I.
 There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer [REVISED].

SSC CPO Syllabus Paper 2
Questions in these components will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of
the English Language and will be based on:
 Error recognition,
 Filling in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions articles, etc),
 Vocabulary,
 Spellings,
 Grammar,
 Sentence Structure,
 Synonyms,
 Antonyms,
 Sentence Completion,
 Phrases and Idiomatic Use of Words,
 Comprehension etc.

SSC CPO 2024 Medical Examination

All the candidates who qualify for the SSC CPO PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of
the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/ State Govt.
Hospital or Dispensary. Candidates who are found to be unfit will be informed of the position and they can
appeal to Review Medical Board within the prescribed time limit of 15 days.
The decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal/ representation
against the decision of the Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be entertained.
