*ROUTINARY ACTIVITIES TO BE FACILATED BY TEAM LEADERS*

Prayer
National Anthem
Checking of Attendance

MOTIVATION: BRING ME
T: Today we are going to have an activity. We are going to have a game called BRING ME.
Is everyone familiar to this?
(Learners will answer)

T: All you need to is to find an object that starts with the letters needed to complete our
magic word. This activity is a group game so the first learner to show the object on the
camera will receive 3 points together with his/her classmates in his/her designated
campuses. The rest of the class will receive 2 points.

Before we start let us have a trial first. Is everybody ready?

Bring me an object that starts with LETTER S.

Very good everyone, it seems like everybody is ready to play our game.

(Proceed to your presentation)

That was so fun class. Now let us take our seats or you can have your water with you as
we are now proceeding to our discussion for today.

DISCUSION 1: ONLINE CLASS ROOM NETIQUETTE/ RULES

T: Good Day everyone let us now proceed to our discussion for today. This is all about
Online classroom rules or netiquette.

Netiquette is a portmanteau or blended words. It is a made-up word from the words

net and etiquette.

It is often referred to as etiquette for the internet. Netiquette thus describes the rules
of conduct for respectful and appropriate communication on the internet.
The following are the rules that we need to apply while doing an online class.

(Please proceed to your presentation)

1. Be on time.
It is important to be on time so that you won’t miss any important announcements
especially during your homeroom.

2. When you log-in, make sure you have eaten your breakfast (morning) or your lunch
(afternoon).
Empty stomach can cause a lot of effect during class such as stomach ache or even
fainting. This can make you unfocused or distracted to the discussion.

3. Be ready with your things placed in your study area which should have proper
lighting.
Things needed:
a. Student Journal
b. pencils / ballpens
c. sharpener, eraser, scissors, glue and other art materials like crayons, colored
papers and bond papers.
d. whiteboard, marker and eraser
It is much better to be ready with your materials rather than standing up more often to
get your things.

4. Make sure that your camera is always on.

So that the teacher will know that you are still alert and listening to the discussion

5. Focus on our class by listening and participating in all the activities.

Active listening is much needed to stay on track during the discussion. Remember
that your teacher might ask you comprehensive questions based from what you have discussed.

6. Mute your microphone unless you need to talk.

This is our first classroom rule. It is being done to pay respect to the person currently
speaking. In communication, listening to the person talking before expressing your thoughts
is a sign that you are respectful, polite and professional.
This is also important to avoid distractions to others.

7. Always use polite words when communicating online.

To avoid miscommunication, it is advised that we use polite words all the time
especially in a school set up. If you need to ask something to your teachers, always begin
with greetings followed by your concern.

8. Use hand signals for routinary activities:

1 finger – up: if you need help

2 fingers-up : if your want to ask or say something
3 fingers-up: if you want to go to the comfort room.

9. Spread kindness and not the virus.

Kindness can also be a universal language that we can share to others. In thriving time
of pandemic, let us take care of ourselves. By doing that, we are also protecting the people
around us.

Teacher: I will now give to Sir Gerald to teach you on how to operate Google Classroom.

DISCUSSION #2: HOW TO SUBMIT IN GOOGLE CLASSROOM

T: Are you familiar in submitting your work on our classroom?

T: Let’s have a little bit or overview on how our classroom work.

What we have here on the left corner is the Deadline of activities. This is where we are
going to see the upcoming activity and also its deadline. Usually, we set the deadline the other
day at 5 PM. Always remember that your activity will be labeled missing if you missed the
deadline or late if you pass your work a later after.

T: The first step that we have here is where we click the activity you want to work on. For
example, you want to click the assignment entitle ESSAY.

(Proceed to the next slide/pdf)

T: Now we have here the points given, Instruction and the comment box
Please take note that you must read the instructions before answering to avoid
inconvenience.
The second step is to click the assigned activity to you and It will automatically direct you on
the google application it was made. For example, Google docs, Google slides, Jamboard or
Google forms or Sheet. Once that you are done, that will be the time to click TURN IN.

(please proceed to the next slide/ pdf. The res is self explanatory.)
