TOPIC 1: LEARNING STYLE
Learning skills is a term that describes the task involved in learning including
time management, note-taking, reading effectively, study skills and writing

kinesthetic learner. Knowing your preferred learning style can be helpful in
knowing how to develop the skills necessary to be an effective learner.

Life in school and university is different. In high school, there are parents and
teachers who can guide us in everything such as our time will structured by

TOPIC 3: LIBRARY AND CAMPUS RESOURCES

At the end of 2002, the library building was named Sultan Badlishah Library in conjunction with Al
Marhum Sultan Badlishah ibni Al Marhum Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah, the 27th Sultan of Kedah.
The naming of this building was approved by Al Marhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah. The name
Sultan Badlishah Library was suggested by the Head of the Library, Puan Azizah Khasim, because the
Rector of the campus, Dr. Zaleha at that time wished for the building of the Sultan Badlishah Library to
be inaugurated by Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah. However, the wish was not fulfilled due to
several things related to the building opening procedure that did not allow. Until today, the Sultan
Badlishah Library building has never been inaugurated. But continue to provide the best service to
library users and continue to protect the good name of Al Marhum Sultan Badlishah ibni Al Marhum
Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah as per the mandate of Al Marhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah.
The library has improved its management by using a computerized management system which is
Integrated Library Management Utilities (ILMU) in 2002 and continues to upgrade the library
management system to Web Integrated Library System (WILS) in 2018 until now.
