Ms. Villella is an incredibly dedicated professional. Her lessons were always organized,
focused and student-driven. She constantly aligned her teaching objectives with the
standards and values of the district to ensure each opportunity with the students was a
quality, teachable moment. Ms. Villella would reflect on completed lessons and review
necessary data and assessments to plan for the next unit or lesson. Additionally, from
her first day in fourth grade, Ms. Villella worked tirelessly to become an active and
important member of the 4th grade team. Ms. Villella brainstormed ways to make
projects and lessons more efficient. She would create lessons to share with the 4th
grade team, making her a true team player.
Ms. Villella believed strongly in using various learning strategies and technology in her
lessons to meet students where they are. To create differentiated lessons using
authentic learning opportunities, Ms. Villella would build units based on what was
important to the students, their prior knowledge and varying academic abilities. Ms.
Villella would also manage small groups of students who needed additional
reinforcement. Ms. Villella would keep accurate and up-to-date data on these groups to
monitor growth and progress.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to highlight just a few of the many unique
qualities of Ms. Villella. I’m confident she will meet and exceed the demands of any
teaching position in your school with compassion and enthusiasm. Please do not
hesitate to contact me to elaborate further in support of her.
Respectfully,
