How to Install
Requirements:
To optimize the performance of your EA, it is recommended to use a Virtual
Private Server (VPS).

Not using a VPS may result in missed trades since your personal computer
cannot remain operational 24/5.

Only for the Scalp strategy don't need to use a VPS, you need to keep your
computer online from 10:00 PM-1:00 AM in UAE time.

Obtaining a VPS is a simple process. You can easily order a VPS by visiting
websites such as Hetzner or checking with your broker, as they might offer free
VPS accounts for their clients.

How to open your VPS on Windows


STEP 1: Search for Remote Desktop Connection from the start ''Menu.''
STEP 2: Please input the IP address provided by your VPS company into the
below box and then click on "Connect"
Enter your VPS IP provided by the company from which you made the purchase.

STEP 3: In the next step, Enter your Username and Password that you received
from the VPS provider and click on ‘’OK.’’
STEP 4: Then click on ‘’Yes’’ button

And that 's it! Your VPS is open now.

How to open your VPS on Mac


STEP 1: You need to use the Microsoft Remote Desktop app to connect to your
VPS.
STEP 2: Click on the plus sign (+).

STEP 3: Enter your Username and Password that you received from the VPS
provider and click on ‘’Add’’

And that 's it! Your VPS is open now.

After you have successfully configured your VPS, the subsequent task is to
install MetaTrader 4 on your VPS.
Installing XAUBOT AI
It’s time now to install XAUBOT AI on your MetaTrader 4

Once you’ve located your navigator, follow these steps:

Activate trading account:

1. From the Navigator section, right-click on “ Account” and then click on “Login
to Trade Account”.

2. Enter your broker account number, password and select your Server Name.

Note: Your broker will send you the Server Name based on your account details,
please choose the exact your borker server name.
4. If you haven’t downloaded XAUBOT AI file yet that will be your first step.
Once downloaded, extract the .ZIP files into your desktop of your VPS and
proceed with this guide.
Inside this .ZIP file, you’ll these files:

• XAUBOT_AI_V1.EX4
• XAUBOT AI set-up guide PDF

5. Copy the XAUBOT_AI_V1.ex4 file

6. Click on “Open Data Folder” from the file.

7. Click on “MQL4“ folder.


8. Click on “Expert” and open, then paste XAUBOT_AI_V1.ex4 in this folder.

10. Click on “tools” then select “options”

11. In the Expert Advisors tab, turn on the Allow Web Request option for the
listed URL. Also turn on the Allow automated trading option.
12. Enter on add new URL and write this link: https://xaubot.com

13. Click on XAUBOT_AI_V1 on the Navigator.

Note: If the XAUBOT_AI_V1 file was not added, close your Metatrader and re-
open again.
14. Right-Click on a recommended symbol in your symbols section like AUDNZD,
and select the "Chart Window" option to display its chart in your account.
15. Then double-click on the XAUBOT_AI_V1 on the Navigator

16. On pop up on your screen, Click on “Inputs” tab, You will see all the
configurable parameter

Input the License Key you received in your registered email into the "Enter
License Key" field.
Please refer to the Input setting for instructions on customizing the bot
according to your preferences.

17. If you want to active news filter, you can toggle the news filter option to
“True” in the previous step within the inputs tab,

Afterward, activate the DDL option in the common tab and then click on “OK”
18. Whether you decide to go with the preloaded parameters or modify them,
simply click the 'OK' button, and your EA will be prepared to initiate automatic
trading on your account. It will appear similar to this:

Note: To conirm the correct setup in MT4, you can check if there is a smiley or
a sad face next to the EA name located in the upper-right corner of your chart.

A smiley face ☺ indicates that everything is ok, while a sad face indicates there is
a configuration error.

Also “Live” with green text means everything is fine.


Input Setting
1. Input License Key
Copy and paste the license key provided by the XAUBOT by email. Ensure
that you use the same account number used during registration.

2. XAUBOT Mode
Choose the section of the tool you want to use: Signal Channel, Money
Management, Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis, or Automatic
Trading.

3. EA Strategy
For Automatic Trading mode, choose between Multi-Level or Scalp strategy
to determine how the EA executes trades

4. Magic Number
A unique identifier for your trades. For Multi-Level strategy, the magic
number for buy positions is 1+ MagicNumber + (Number of level), and for
sell positions, it's 2 + MagicNumber + (Number of level).

For Scalp strategy, the magic number remains the same as you choose

5. Trade Comments
Add a comment to trades executed by the EA for easy identification and
tracking.
6. ECN Modes
Indicate whether your account is an ECN account. It is recommended not to
use ECN accounts due to higher swap rates for better profitability.

7. Debug
Enable debugging to identify and troubleshoot installation or trading issues.
Useful if no trades are seen after 24 hours of installation.

8. Control From Server


If set to "True," allows the EA to be remotely controlled (turned on or off) by
the server during holidays or special hours. Recommended to leave it true.

Multi Level Strategy

9. Reverse Strategy
When enabled, this feature allows the EA to open new positions in the
opposite direction of your current losing positions.

10.Maximum Symbol at the Same Time


Set the maximum number of symbols for which the EA can open trades
simultaneously.

11.Risk Level
Choose the risk level from 5 settings, ranging from low to aggressive.
Determines the trade volume size. Perform backtests to understand the
suitable risk level for your trading style.

12.Fixed Lot Size


If Risk Level is set to Fixed Lot Size, input your desired fixed lot size for each
trade.
13.Maximum Lot Size
Set the maximum lot size the EA is allowed to open in Multi-Level strategy.

14.Maximum Spread (Pips)


Specify the maximum spread allowed for opening a position. If the spread
exceeds this value, the EA will not open a trade.

15.Maximum Slippage (Pips)


Set the maximum slippage allowed. If slippage exceeds this value, the EA will
not open the trade.

16.Take Profit for First Trade (Pips)


Define the take profit for the initial trade in Multi-Level strategy.

17.Break Even After This Level


If the EA opens multiple levels, setting this parameter means, for example,
you set on 3 means that when all levels reach a profit, the bot will close all
positions.

18.Permission for Buy and Sell


Specify if the EA is permitted to open only buy, sell, or both positions in
Multi-Level strategy.

19.Limits on
Set drawdown and daily profit limits for trades related to the EA or the total
account.

20.Maximum Drawdown
Set the maximum drawdown percentage. For example, if set to 20%, the EA
will close all positions if the account's loss reaches 20%.
Ensure you carefully configure these parameters based on your trading
preferences and risk tolerance. Backtesting is recommended to optimize settings.

21.Max Drawdown Action


Option 1: Whenever the maximum drawdown is reached, the EA will close all
positions and cease trading until manually restarted.

Option 2: The EA will close all positions if the maximum drawdown is reached.
It will then halt trading for 24 hours before automatically resuming.

22.Maximum Daily Profit


Set a maximum daily profit target. Once this target is reached, the EA will
stop trading for the day and resume after a 24-hours period.

23.Symbols that you want to trade


Import preferred currencies for Multilevel strategy trading, recommended
currencies include: GBPNZD, AUDNZD, AUDCAD, NZDCAD.
Recommended currencies for Scalp strategy: AUDNZD, AUDCAD, USDCAD.

Add other desired currencies after thorough testing in demo accounts and
conducting backtests.

24.Start Trading From (h) with your broker time


Specify the hour to start trading based on your broker's time.Use a 24-hour
format, e.g., 1 for 1 am, 13 for 1 pm.

25.End Trading in (H)


Specify the hour to stop trading based on your broker's time.Use a 24-hour
format, e.g., 23 for 11 pm.
26.StopLoss in Pips
Set the stop loss for each trade in pips. If set to 0, the stop loss will be based
on your drawdown limit.

27.Hidden Stop Loss


If set to “True”, the bot will hide the stop loss for each position.

28.Maximum Number of Trades


Set the maximum number of levels/trades the bot is allowed to open. For
example, if set to 8, the EA can open up to 8 multiple trades to manage
losses.

29.Trade Distance for Opening Another Levels (pips):


Set the distance in pips that triggers the EA to find another signal for
opening new trades in the same direction as the old trade.

30.Second Level Multiplier


This multiplier determines the volume size for the second level. If your initial
lot size is 1 lot and the multiplier is 1, the next level's lot size will also be 1
lot.

31.After Second Level Multiplier


For levels three and beyond, the lot size will be equal to the second level
multiplier multiplied by the initial lot size.
For example, if the initial lot size is 1 lot and the after-second-level multiplier
is 2, the lot size from level 3 onwards will be 2 times larger than the previous
trade.
Scalp Strategy

32.StopLoss (Pips)
Set the stop loss in pips for each position in the Scalp strategy.

33.Take Profit (Pips)


Specify the profit target in pips for each position in the Scalp strategy.

34.Max Spread (Pips)


Set the maximum allowed spread for your desired currency. If the spread
exceeds this value, the EA will not open a position.

35.Max Slippage (Pips)


Specify the maximum slippage allowed for opening a position. If the slippage
exceeds this value, the EA will not open the trade.

36.Signal Protector
The Signal Protector parameter acts as a risk management tool.

When enabled, it automatically closes your trading signal when the price
surpasses the Moving Average (MA20), signaling a potential exit from the
established range.

This feature helps protect your investment by preventing extended exposure to


unfavorable market conditions.

37.Risk-Free for Scalp


The Risk-Free for Scalp parameter is designed to enhance your trading strategy
by providing a safety net for short-term trades.
When activated, the order becomes risk-free once the price moves a specified
number of pips beyond the entry point. This feature aims to minimize potential
losses and secure profits during rapid market movements.

38.Risk-Free After (Pips)


The Risk-Free After parameter determines the distance in pips after which your
trading order becomes risk-free.

By setting this parameter, you establish a threshold beyond which the initial
risk associated with the trade is eliminated.

This feature is particularly useful for adapting to market volatility and securing
your position as the price moves in your favor.

39.Step to Modify (Pips)


The Step to Modify parameter introduces a dynamic stop-loss modification
mechanism to optimize risk management.
Once the price surpasses a specified number of pips, your stop-loss order is
automatically adjusted to a predefined distance.

This allows you to trail potential profits while protecting against sudden market
reversals, striking a balance between capitalizing on favorable movements and
mitigating risk.

40.Start Trading From (h)


Set the hour to start trading for the Scalp strategy. It's advisable to run the
scalp system at night (10PM-1AM, UAE time).

41.Stop Trading At (h)


Set the hour to stop trading for the Scalp strategy.
42.Fixed Lot Size
If set to false for Money Management, the lot size for each trade will be
determined by the value entered for Fixed Lot Size.

43.Money Management
If set to true, the bot will dynamically determine the lot size based on your
specified parameters for stop loss and risk per trade.

44.Risk for Each Trade


This parameter represents the risk per trade as a percentage of your account
balance.
For example, if set to 1, the bot will open positions with a risk of 1% of your
total account balance.

45.Maximum Daily Loss for Scalp Strategy


Set a percentage for the maximum daily loss that you are willing to accept in
the Scalp strategy.
After reaching this loss limit, the EA will stop trading until the next day. This
parameter serves as a limit for professional challenges and risk management.

General Settings

46.News Filter
The News Filter allows you to enable or disable news filtering for trading. When
enabled, the EA will consider news events in its trading decisions.

How to Set: Choose between "True" to enable or "False" to disable the News
Filter. Note that enabling this option may require enabling DLL in your expert
settings.
47.Auto Timezone Detection
If enabled, the EA will automatically detect your timezone without the need for
manual input of GMT time.

48.Display Lines Option


Enabling this option will show news lines on your chart. These lines indicate
news events.

49.Line Style
Adjust the line size for news events according to your preference.

50.Stop Trading Before High News


Set the number of minutes before high-impact news when the EA should halt
new positions.

51.Stop Trading After High News


Set the number of minutes after high-impact news events when the EA should
avoid opening new positions.

For example, if set to 120, the EA will wait 120 minutes after high-impact news
before trading again.

52.Stop Trading Before Medium News


Similar to the previous two parameters, set the number of minutes before
medium-impact news when the EA should halt new positions.

53.Stop Trading After Medium News:


Set the number of minutes after medium-impact news events when the EA
should refrain from opening new positions.
How to Fix
How to fix the “Invalid licence Key” message

After completing your subscription registration, you will receive an email


containing your exclusive license key from us.

If you don’t see a message, please, check your spam folder. It can sometimes end
up there, depending on your spam filter settings.

How to fix the “Sever Problem” message


The URL you entered in “Tools/ Option/ Expert Advisor “tab is wrong.

How to fix the “Trading not allowed” message

Please check the “allow live trading” is enabled.

Also, you need to ensure that “Auto Trading” is enabled in your MT4.

How to fix the “Time Frame error” message


The incorrect time frame has been chosen.
XAUBOT Scalp Strategy is compatible with 5M time frame and Multi-Level
Strategy is compatible with 15M time frame so please make sure to set it
accordingly.

How to fix the “Error1:Check symbol” message

You need to input the exact name of the currency pair as introduced by your
broker in the trade symbols.

Make sure that the ‘Symbol Suffix’ symbol contains the suffix of your broker if it
uses one. If pairs of your broker looks like AUNZD.r instead of AUDNZD, this
symbol should be set to .r

How to add other Currency Pairs on XAUBOT AI


Click the smiley icon located in the upper right corner, then scroll on the "trade
setting" section and double click on" trade symbols" item.

Enter the exact name of each currency pair in the Trade Symbols item. If you
wish to include multiple currencies, separate each currency pair using a comma.
