2) Difference between ecc and S4 hana
ECC is a traditional ERP system while S4 HANA is a next-generation ERP system with in-
memory computing.
 ECC uses a traditional database while S4 HANA uses in-memory computing
 S4 HANA has simplified data models and eliminates redundancies
 S4 HANA has a simplified user interface and improved analytics capabilities
 S4 HANA supports real-time data processing and analytics
 S4 HANA is designed to work with SAP's HANA database

1. How do you perform system monitoring in SAP, and what are the key
components you monitor?

4)What the activities are you doing in the Daily system monitoring? Explain briefly.

5)Explain the SAP single stack system.


SAP system defines SAP singlet stack system. These can have two types of runtime engines
like JAVA or SAP Netweaver as ABAP. An example – a Single Stack System (JAA) is basically SAP
Enterprise Portal System (Ep). On the other hand, Single Stack System (ABAP) is basically SAP ERP
(ECC).

6) List the various kinds of user types in the SAP system?


Dialog user – Mainly for accessing the interactive systems from GUI, this type of server is
used.
Communication User – For external RFC calls, this type of user is used.
System User – The system User mainly helps in background processing and intra-system
communication.
Service User – Anonymous and a large group of users mainly use this type.
Reference User – Allowance of assignment of extra authorization is done by this user. These
are not related to persons as users.

5)What are the work processes in SAP?

if we find the parameter in many instance profile,we just


put it into a default profile and remove them where ever it
is.

Kernel files are located in /usr/sap//SYS/exe//
 Kernel files are the core components of the SAP system
 They are responsible for managing system resources and executing processes
 Kernel files are platform-specific and are stored in the /usr/sap//SYS/exe// directory
 Examples of kernel files include disp+work, icman, and msg_server

The term JSPM stands for Java Support Package Manager, which is used to apply support packages
to software components that have been deployed. JSPM is a useful tool that aids with the
installation of packages as well as all of their components. SDM is frequently used by JSPM to deploy
packages.
On the other side, SDM, which stands for Software Delivery Manager, aids with the import of Java
Support Packages. This is also used for both delivering and managing software packages. SAP is
alleged to have delivered these items.

This is the first phase of the interview process,if you are shortlisted HR will inform you & will arrange
the second round.
