Dust Cleaning Blower Technical Specification


1. Scope
Ethio telecom is seeking for a supplier of hand-held Dust Cleaning Blower that is going to
be used for cleaning dust from core and access network elements/devices such as DSLAM,
MSAN, MSAG, MDU, and OLT etc. and other machines and equipments.
2. Technical Requirements
2.1. General requirement
2.1.1. Dust Cleaning Blower shall be of strong air flow for fast and better work
efficiency.
2.1.2. Dust Cleaning Blower shall be of compact and light weight construction that can
be used at field work with no difficulty.
2.1.3. It shall have variable speed operation features with variable speed control switch
to adjust air flow based on cleaning job requirement.
2.1.4. Its weight shall not exceed 2.1kg with battery included.
2.1.5. It shall be of self-standing design type to position on flat space/turn upside down.
2.1.6. The sound level measured in any place and at 1 meter from the noise source shall
not exceed 85 dB(A) for continuous or intermittent exposure of eight hours per
day.
2.1.7. It shall be Cordless.
2.2. Capacity
2.2.1. Air volume: at least 2 m3/min.
2.2.2. Maximum air flow rate:120 m3/hr
2.2.3. Maximum Air speed: not more than 275 km/h.
2.2.4. Two speed regulation for different work.
2.3. Power supply:
2.3.1. It shall have AC/DC adapter, input 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz
2.4. Batteries
2.4.1. Rechargeable lithium Ion(Li-Ion)

2.4.2. Battery charging time should be reasonably short: ≤ 5 hours.
2.4.3. Once charged, the battery should operate at least for 30 minutes.
2.5. Operating temperature
2.5.1. Charging temperature(oC) : 0 to +40
2.5.2. Operating temperature(oC): –10 to +45
2.5.3. Storage temperature(oC): –10 to +45

3. Accessories
The dust blower shall at least come up with the following accessories.
3.1. Flexible /Bending long nozzle set
3.2. Battery Charger
3.3. Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery
3.4. Carrying case
3.5. High-Speed Dust Blower Anchor Hole Nozzle
3.6. Large Deflation Attachment
3.7. Filter Assembly
3.8. Nozzle assembly
3.9. Deflation Hose
4. Sample
Sample for Dust Cleaning Blower with its full accessories shall be provided.

5. Warranty
Bidders shall give a minimum of two-year warranty for the item.
