or external factors like changes in the
market or industry. The change could be
minor like the installation of new software
or major like a takeover by a competitor. A
professional qualification in leadership
and change management equips you with
the skills to lead and manage
organisational change seamlessly.

Change is the Only Constant

“Change is the only constant”, said Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher.
The saying holds true for businesses as well. Starting mid-2000s,
organisational change has become an integral and recurrent feature
amidst a dynamic business environment, owing to various factors such
as new markets, vast labour pools, newer technologies, evolving
business models, globalisation and digitalisation, among others. The
rate of this change has further accelerated in the past decade.

A typical organisation today Nearly 75% of organisations

has undertaken five major expect to multiply the types of
firm-wide changes in the major change initiatives they
past three years. will undertake in the next
three years.

change in a way that minimises employee resistance, curbs costs and
also enhances the effect of change. Organisations with effective
change management practices can overcome the hurdles in business

Leading Change
Today, an important prerequisite for being an effective leader is the
ability to lead change. However, most managers or leaders do not have
formal training or experience in effective change management. For a
manager entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing organisational
change or guiding employees through it, it is crucial to be familiar with
change management processes and the skills required to execute them.
