An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Mr. Vinod Verma is Graduate in Electrical
Engineering and MBA in HR. Moving to HRD from Factory operations where he worked for
14 years in SAIL, he rose to the position of Joint Director. He headed the Corporate Human
Resource and Information Technology divisions as Sr. Vice President in Wockhardt for 5
years.He has been involved with Automobile, Textiles, Telecom, Steel, Infrastructure &
Pharmaceuticals, Banking,Aluminum, Zinc, IT, IT Enabled services, Advertising, Entertainment, Mining
and Power sectors in running training courses and HR consulting assignments. He has worked as a
trainer and HR consultant in lndia and other countries like UK and Egypt. With more than 35 years of
experience, he has unquenched passion for training. He has designed and conducted development
programs in technical and behavioral areas. In behavioural areas he has designed and run programs like
leadership, team building, creativity and problem solving, networking skills, time management,
communication and presentation skills, transactional analysis, goal setting, performance management,
conflict management, counseling and feedback skills, and many more. He took training under Edward De
Bono in the art of thinking and creativity and is a certified De Bono trainer.
He has also worked as visiting faculty from industry in IIM, Ahmedabad, MDI, Gurgaon, Centre for
Organizational Development (COD), Hyderabad, Fore School of Management, New Delhi, University of
Udaipur, University of Jodhpur etc.
