QA/QC Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA)
 Develop and implement QA procedures, standards, and specifications.
 Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and project
requirements.
 Review and approve quality-related documents, such as inspection and test plans.
 Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to establish quality
requirements.
2) QUALITY CONTROL (QC)
 Perform inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to verify
compliance with specifications.
 Monitor and control non-conforming items through corrective and preventive actions.
 Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and testing of materials and components.
 Maintain records of inspections, tests, and quality-related documentation.
3) DOCUMENTATION
 Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports and test
records.
 Ensure that all documentation follows project specifications and regulatory requirements.
 Create and update quality manuals and procedures as needed.
4) SUPPLIER AND VENDOR MANAGEMENT
 Evaluate and qualify suppliers and subcontractors based on their quality management
systems.
 Conduct audits of suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the required standards.
 Monitor and address quality issues related to supplied materials and equipment.
5) TRAINING AND COMMUNICATION
 Provide training to project personnel on quality standards, procedures, and requirements.
 Communicate quality-related issues to project teams and management.
 Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project quality.
6) REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
 Stay informed about relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
 Ensure that the project complies with applicable regulatory requirements.
7) PROBLEM SOLVING
 Investigate and analyze non-conformances and quality issues.
 Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified problems.
8) HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE)
 Integrate QA/QC processes with health, safety, and environmental management systems.
 Ensure that quality activities align with HSE policies and guidelines.
