KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA)
Develop and implement QA procedures, standards, and specifications.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and project
requirements.
Review and approve quality-related documents, such as inspection and test plans.
Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to establish quality
requirements.
2) QUALITY CONTROL (QC)
Perform inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to verify
compliance with specifications.
Monitor and control non-conforming items through corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and testing of materials and components.
Maintain records of inspections, tests, and quality-related documentation.
3) DOCUMENTATION
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports and test
records.
Ensure that all documentation follows project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Create and update quality manuals and procedures as needed.
4) SUPPLIER AND VENDOR MANAGEMENT
Evaluate and qualify suppliers and subcontractors based on their quality management
systems.
Conduct audits of suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the required standards.
Monitor and address quality issues related to supplied materials and equipment.
5) TRAINING AND COMMUNICATION
Provide training to project personnel on quality standards, procedures, and requirements.
Communicate quality-related issues to project teams and management.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project quality.
6) REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Stay informed about relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Ensure that the project complies with applicable regulatory requirements.
7) PROBLEM SOLVING
Investigate and analyze non-conformances and quality issues.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified problems.
8) HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE)
Integrate QA/QC processes with health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Ensure that quality activities align with HSE policies and guidelines.
