The jaguar is a species of feline that is in danger of extinction. In this report, we will

explore the reasons behind this threat and discuss the measures necessary to protect this

The jaguar faces multiple threats that have led to its current situation. Some of the main causes

include:

destruction of the jaguar's natural habitat. The reduction of their territory has led to the

fragmentation of populations and has hindered their ability to find enough food and

reproduce.

2. Illegal hunting: The jaguar has been hunted for its teeth, skins and skulls to be traded

illegally. This poaching has contributed significantly to the decline of the jaguar

population.

3. Conflict with humans: The jaguar often comes into conflict with humans due to the

invasion of its habitat by agricultural and livestock activities. This has led to clashes and

indiscriminate hunting of jaguars in response to attacks on livestock.

It is essential to take measures to protect the jaguar and prevent its extinction. Some of the

 Control of illegal hunting: Law enforcement measures must be strengthened to

combat illegal hunting of jaguars and illegal trade in their parts.

importance of protecting the jaguar and its habitat. Education and awareness can

encourage behaviors and practices that promote conservation.

The jaguar is in danger of extinction due to habitat loss, illegal hunting and conflict with
