Over 700 people gathered in Baltimore on November 4-6 for the National Leaders and Ministries Conference, 18 of which

were from our area. Participants from Western Washington came from Gig Harbor, Sequim, Medina, Edmonds, University Place, Bothell, Seattle, Renton, Everett and Tacoma. We didnt travel together but we were able to experience an amazing weekend that I know will bear much fruit in our region! The theme for the conference was We are Standing on Holy Ground and we encountered the holiness of God in many and varied ways throughout the weekend, through the talks, workshops, times of praise and worship, fellowship, intercession and prayer ministry. Our God was truly present and working in and through His people. Instead of attempting to distill an entire weekend down to two pages, here are reflections from a few of those who attended. I loved the talk by Jim Archer on praying blessing into peoples lives and the emphasis on being beloved sons and daughters of the Most High King. I deeply appreciated the simplicity of Neal Lozanos teaching Unbound Ministry and the healing service. I value how easy it will be to incorporate into School of Healing Prayer; including the emphasis on the Fathers blessing. ~Misty
The wonderful music of Erik Christiansen was one of my favorite parts of the conference. The exuberant dancing of the people in the aisles helped lead us all into the joy of the Holy Spirit. The singing in tongues was like the voices of angels bringing in the presence of the Holy Spirit. ~Andrea (Barbara Smiths daughter)
From WA state & beyond It has been several years since I went to a leaders conference. When I saw this conference in Gleanings, I knew I was to go. During one session a spiritual oppression was lifted. When I was prayed for, the Lord revealed, in prophecy, that I had been through a difficult time of grief and suffering. The Lord said my suffering was benefitting many souls as I had united my pain with His for others. I received both consolation and healing. I also was very interested in the practical healing prayer of deliverance taught by Neal Lozano. ~Penelope

I have never attended a leaders conference before and was so amazed. The presence of the Holy Spirit was palpable throughout the conference. There were many outstanding speakers and opportunities to learn from some of the senior charismatic leaders. I was most touched at the Mass on Sundayit was truly a charismatic Mass and during the consecrationthe entire audience and priests began to spontaneously pray in tongues. As I looked up towards the altar, I saw many of the priests openly weeping. It was beautiful to behold and I felt so blessed to participate. ~Kerry In 2012 there will be a 45th Anniversary Conference June 1-3 in Philadelphia, and a National Leaders and Ministries Conference Nov. 2-4 in San Antonio, Texas. Start planning now to attend.
