POSSIBLE JOB INTERVIEW
1. Interviewer: May I know your name?
Interviewee: My name is Dava Rafhael My friends usually call me Dava or Devot 2. Interviewer: Tell me about your family/yourself. Interviewee: I have big/small family…(anda dan keluarga) / tentang anda misalnya: I was born and raised in Madiun. I graduated from Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University and received my graduate degree in Bachelor of Education.Majoring to guidance and counseling. I have tutoring kids around my house for 2 years. I love doing some sports like football, basketball, and badminton.
3. Interviewer: What’s your address?/ Where do you live?
Interviewee: I live at Mendut street number 66B, Madiun, East java 4. Interviewer: Tell me about your educational background. Interviewee: 5. Interviewer: Do you have plan to continue your study? Interviewee: I view learning as a lifelong process. Even though I just graduated three months ago, I want to continue learning as much as possible to become an effective guidance and counseling teacher. So if it's a combination of internal and external training, I'm prepared and ready to continue learning to the development of my job 6. Interviewer: Do you have any job experience?* Interviewee: Yes, I do….mention (sebutkan….) / No, I don’t… 7. Interviewer: Why did you quit the job?* Interviewee: Because my previous job is not compability with my bachelor degree. Yes, I got graduate degree in bachelor of education. But in major guidance and counseling , I don’t focus on teach subjects. I’m afraid that I can't develop the kids abilities to the next level. So I think the perfect match for my educational background is a guidance and counseling teacher. 8. Interviewer: You have applied for the .....? Do you know the ....’s responsibilities? Interviewee: Yes I knew it, the guidance and counseling teacher responbility is we help them develop a plan that will work within their academic abilities and facilitating communication between all parties involved- especially if there is an issue at home or school. 9. Interviewer: If I offer another position, what do you think of it? Interviewee: I I feel fine if I'm placed in a different position. I will keep working hard and join a lot of training to understand and developing my skills and in the end I hope I can make a good contributions for this school. 10. Interviewer: Are you a computer literate? Interviewee: Yes, I am. I can operate any kinds of computer applications, such as word Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web browser, and make a curriculum design. 11. Interviewer: Can you run Microsoft Access? Interviewee: 2 12. Interviewer: By the way, why do you choose this company? Interviewee: I want to work here because I can see myself succeeding in this position and I heard that your school have a good employee welfare. 13. Interviewer: What do you want from this company? Interviewee: 14. Interviewer: What will you give to this company if you are accepted? Interviewee: I will bring my energy to the school and make a new method to developing student academic and non academic abilities by using application to observe the strengths and weakness from student to find best solutions or method to development 15. Interviewer: Can you work ten-hour a day? Interviewee: I think it’s little bit to much for me but if sometimes the school want me to work overtime, I will keep doing that with spirit and big work ethic 16. Interviewer: Are you not getting bored of routine work? No, I am not cause I love my job and with routine work I can developing my skills more. 17. Interviewer: If necessary, this company needs overtime work to meet the deadline. Are you ready to take a part? Interviewee: Off course I’m ready. I'm flexible and available just about any time you need me to work. I am simply looking forward to joining the team and helping whenever I am most needed. 18. Interviewer: Would you mind working in shift? Interviewee: I am more interested in a full-time position. However, I would also consider a part-time position. 19. Interviewer: What about working during holidays? Interviewee: I’m fine with that. But I think I deserve to get compensated 20. Interviewer: If your supervisor whose education is lower than you makes a wrong decision, what will you do? Interviewee: I think it’s clear that My supervisor is my boss. I will keep respect him as my boss. If he make mistake, that still fine. Cause every human make a mistake. So just keep it cool and fix that mistake together. 21. Interviewer: What will you do, if your close friend under your supervision does something wrong to the company? Interviewee: 22. Interviewer: What will you do if you feel that one of your colleagues doesn’t like you? Interviewee: Confront them and deal with the issue. 23. Interviewer: Which one do you choose? Getting promotion or having postgraduate study?* Interviewee: I will choose to having postgraduate study. Cause after having that postgraduate study, my value as workers will rising 24. Interviewer: What about losing chance of getting promotion?* Interviewee: I fine with it cause I can get another chance next time 25. Interviewer: If you must evaluate yourself, what is your strength? Interviewee: I work well under pressure. I am organised, detailoriented, effective, I am an excellent communicator. People trust me and come to me for advice. 26. Interviewer: What about your weakness? 3 Interviewee: I am overzealous (work too hard) and I am easy to get sick 27. Interviewer: How much salary are you expecting? Interviewee: My salary requirements are flexible, but I do have a lot experience in the field that I believe adds value to my candidacy. I look forward to discussing in more detail what my responsibilities at this school would be. From there, we can determine a fair salary for the position. 28.
