To elect the fan as the Chlorine gas blower that is made of fiberglass. The inlet pipe of
the fan extend to Chlorine facility, and the pipeline which is close to the ground is equipped
with a number of inspiratory windows. User can decorate the pipeline trend accordant with
own needed. Fan has large air quantity and the advantages of strong corrosion resistance.

4.6 Control Cabinet

System is equipped with the control box. The control box has three-phase voltage
indicator system and system power instructions that can operation for the fan and the pump of
star, The control cabinet have manual/auto selector switch. In manual system operator can
manually start and stop Chlorine Leak Absorption System. When the system selector
automatic mode, then the Chlorine leakage alarming device to detect the leakage after
Chlorine concentration is higher than the set value. For delaying 10 seconds, then
automatically start circulating pump, For delaying 10 seconds again start fan. Chlorine
leakage alarming device to detect leakage after chlorine concentration is lower than the set
value, then the fan and circulating pump stop running, so the system goes back to the initial
state (all delay time can be adjusted).
In any kinds of control mode, system operation signals are uploaded to the central PLC
or other monitoring and control system.
Absorption device of control system has other equipment correlation functions, such as
chlorine library electric doors and windows, and other control system.

6. Installation and commissioning

The tank is made of Polypropylene （PP）and installed on a flat concrete floor.
The fan and pump shall be installed in a horizontal position, and the running direction
shall be paid attention to during debugging
The sensor of chlorine gas alarm device should be installed in the chlorine room where
chlorine gas is likely to leak to facilitate the detection of chlorine leakage. Keep the detection
area dry.

 After the installation of the chlorine leakage absorption system, strict tests (water
leakage and air leakage detection) should be carried out. Everything is normal, it can be used

7. Failure and maintenance

7.1 Fault diagnosis and maintenance

Check whether the chlorine leakage

The system does not start when alarm is normal, whether the control mode
chlorine leaks is “auto”, and whether the fan and pump are
normal
The fan and pump do not start after Check whether the pump and fan are
the alarm of chlorine gas alarm normal
The system can't absorb chlorine Check whether the pipe is blocked, the
gas when it's running level is normal, and the solution is effective

7.2 Other attention

1、The normal level in the tank should be kept at 70-100cm, otherwise chemical solution
needs to be added （After absorbing large amounts of chlorine gas, NaOH needs to be
replaced）
2、Chlorine leakage alarm working, transmitter working
3、Chlorine room doors and Windows are closed
4、Control Cabinet, usually should be routine electromechanical inspection
5、When a leak occurs, the system should be started immediately. It is also necessary to
close the chlorine bottle as soon as possible and check the leak site
