1. Based on the poem ‘The Voice of the Rain’, write a
report on Water Cycle. Include Importance of water,
Water harvesting, Saving water for future and Sustainable
development.
2. Read the lesson ‘The Silk Road’ and write a travelogue
of the place where you have recently visited.
3. Read the lesson ‘Discovering Tut: The Saga
Continues.’ Compare and contrast Ancient Egyptian
Culture with Indus Valley Civilization.
4. Read the lesson ‘Birth.’ Take interview of any three
types of doctors and know their views about their
profession. (Cardiologist, Psychiatrist, Gynaecologist,
Paediatrician and Orthopaedic)
5. Read the lesson ‘Mother’s Day’. Take interview of any
5 mothers of your family/relatives/ neighbourhood with
their photographs.
6. Read any poem/story/novel. Write its review with 5
literary devices which are used in it.

Prepare a Research Project as per the following
guidelines :
1. The students shall hypothetically set up a
start-up in one of the remote or rural areas of the
country, tapping the resources which are
underutilized and are in abundance in that
particular area or region. They will also ensure
to provide equal opportunities to men and
women.

2. Hypothetically, they shall assume certain


expenses, incomes, purchase of assets or
undertaking any liability, if required to carry out
the business with the passage of time and thus
pass Journal entries in the books of accounts
called Journal.

1.Visit a sole proprietorship or a Partnership .
Explore their features, merits and demerits;Paste
Pictures also.
2. Explore and find out how other big firms or start
ups have impacted the businesses of existing small
enterprises

setting standards of efficiency and generating
business for them.
