Aalborg EH-W

Electrically operated water heater

The Alfa Laval Aalborg EH-W is a flow-through electric


heater, ideal for heating technical treated water or available
in a design applicable for bilge water. Its heat load capaci-
ties range from 15 to 486 kW, with design conditions up to
10 bar(g) and 95°C.

Electric power supply terminals (400/440 V), the safety


thermostat and an optional control thermostat are located
on the top hood.

The standard design Aalborg EH-W heater is approved


by all major marine classification societies and is
CE/PED approved.
• Design pressure: 10 bar(g) • Accessories (optional):
- Safety valve
• Design temperature: 95°C
- Drain valve
• Flanges: JIS-16K/EN1092-1 PN16 - Prssure gauge
- Thermometer
• Installation: Vertical or horizontal
- Pt. 100 sensor
- Electronic or mechanical thermostat

• Surface loads: 10 W/cm2
