Household Wickedness
Household Wickedness
Psalm 55:12-13
For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated
me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
David is saying this. If it was from someone from outside, I could have hid myself or killed him. But it
was his own friend.
Vs 14
We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
Vs 15
Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings,
and among them.
It’s his own friend but there is wickedness in their dwellings, in their household.
This morning, the wickedness in your house has to be broken in the Name of Jesus.
David’s own wife mocked his worship. His own son Absalom tried to dethrone him and reign as king
in the palace; to remove Pastor from his place and put another Pastor there. In the Name of Jesus,
repent. Absalom was willing to undermine his own father; so he died prematurely. Even today, you
can see the star of David on the flag of Israel. Because God appointed him.
Ministry is never taken, ministry is given. If God has placed someone in ministry, and if you come
against him, you are coming against the Lord. Let household wickedness be broken in the Name of
Jesus.
There is a saying-it is always the house mice that will show you where the meat is in the house.
Judges 15:11-13
Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest
thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said
unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.

And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of
the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but
surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the
rock.
Samson’s own people told Samson that they came to bind him and deliver him to the Philistines, to
the enemy. They bound him with two new cords.
But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Samson. Many a time you are bound and delivered to the
enemy by your own people. That is a wickedness, a demonic power. We do not battle against flesh
and blood. Don’t pick up a fight with your mother in law using this word. It is a spirit of wickedness.
One of Jesus’ twelve disciples, Judas, from his own house, betrayed him.
Luke 22: 3
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Judas was numbered among the twelve. He was one of the disciples. But satan entered him. He was
a disciple but Satan entered him. The other disciples didn’t recognize it but their leader, Jesus
understood it. For three and a half years, they are ministering together, healing the sick, casting out
demons, preaching the good news, but eleven of them didn’t not understand that satan had entered
him. But Jesus understood.
He had all the information about Jesus. He knew where Jesus was going to be. He had all the details.
With that , he betrayed Him. Jesus asked him: Does thou betray the Son of Man with a kiss?
Publicly, they will kiss you but privately, they will kill you. That is wickedness.
This morning, let that spirit leave in the Name of Jesus. Let the spirit of betrayal, the spirit that tries
to destroy, depart from this church in the Name of Jesus.
It may be your brother who is against you, it may be your mother in law, your father, your
brother in law, whoever it is, separate them from their sin.
People who do this are usually insecure and have a terrible inferiority complex. When
people have inferiority complex and are insecure, they are envious and try to destroy others
and betray others. But you have to separate them from their sin.
