Used to connect gauge
1. Put FNR and transmission control levers in neutral and engage park brake.
2. Stop engine. Operate all hydraulic control valves to release pressure in the hydraulic system.

Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard
by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections
before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body
from high pressure fluids.
If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be
surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result. Doctors unfamiliar with this type
of injury should reference a knowledgeable medical source. Such information is available from

C - Load Sense Adjustment Screw
Install gauge (A) to test port (B) located on the priority valve section. Use JT05688 adapter and 38H1279 union to
connect gauge to test port.

8. Turn steering wheel to full right or left stop and hold. Record gauge reading.
9. Adjust screw (C) until steering load sense relief pressure is to specification.
