core stack development.

Job Description and responsibilities in Infosys:

 Worked on Information Provisioning Framework (IPF). A framework which will helps a party to
subscribe to alerts (Email or SMS or both) based on certain conditions (Low
Inventory/Replenishment). The alerts will be sent both in real-time and in batch processing
mode. Real time alerts are sent during low inventory/replenishment and battery low/ battery up
for SSP(Smart Shelf Pad) devices. Batch Processing alerts are used for sending device down
alerts for SSP every 1 hour.
 Was in the core team of development of Framework (Software). The devices and application is
 successfully deployed in stores like foodworld, bigbaazar, spar, spencers etc.

 Worked on Mobile Concierge Application where a user can view offers/coupons for a store. He
can search stores and add a store to the list of his favorite stores, create his own shopping list
and can add/delete items.

 Used NEXT Framework to develop this application so that the application will be supported on
all phone models.

 Developed another mobile application NESTLEKITCHEN using NEXT Framework. In this

application the user can view recipes, tips to manage healthy weight, breakfast tips information
and to calculate his Body Mass Index (BMI), Recommended Calorie Intake etc.

 Worked on Admin portal for Nestle Kitchen Application where the user can view useful
reports/insights like number of registrations, invitations, most viewed recipes/tips etc. Here I
mainly worked on JSP pages, XSL and stored procedures in oracle.
 Worked on B2C portal similar to the mobile concierge application where an user can view
coupon/offers/recipes for different stores.
 Apart from the development of the core stack helped the deployment team in successful
installation of these applications in store and data base setup.

 Got the Special Recognition Award in 2009 for involving in the development of IPF and Nestle
Kitchen Mobile Application.
 Worked on IPhone version of the shopping-concierge mobile application and the app has been

1. Engineering of Embedded Systems and software tools for efficient Hardware/software codesign
co-validation: This is a paper submitted for Mindtree’s Osmosis.

2. Entrap & Reveal

This are two independent games development during Industrial Internship. The objective of Reveal is to
explore a picture in background by inverting all the 25 pieces present on the board. Selecting any
colored piece will invert that square to small square of the background picture and vice versa. The
objective of Entrap is to trap two mice using four cats so that they can’t move. (Tools used are J2ME
wireless toolkit and Languages used are J2ME)

3. Online Discussion Forum

The discussion forum will be used to have online interactions between users. The forum enables an user
to post and view messages regarding a particular topic in a community in which user has registered.
(Tools used are HTML,JSP and Oracle Database server).

4. City Guide
The online city guide provides an user to search for various facilities available in city such as movies,
Educational institutions and Restaurants. The administrator can update these information. (Tools used
are Oracle database and VB 6.0).

5. Online Inventory Management System.

The inventory Mangement System manages the inventory of retail outlets and provides the user to
order items online. The software also helps to view the statistics as required by the management.

6. Matrix Calculator
The calculator finds RREF, determinants, transformations of matrices from one vector space to another
space by calculating eigenvalues, eigenvectors.

Internships

1. Rural Internship
Organisation & Place: Sahayog Kushthayagna Trust, Himatnagar, Sabarkanta district, Gujarat.
Description: This is a place for lepers and mentally retarded. Our team has developed a database
maintenance system for data pertaining to the mentally retarted at sahyog. We have also studied the
life and problems of the disabled living there and produced “Sahyog-Enabling the disabled” as an
offshoot.

2. Industrial Internship

Industry & Place: Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City, Reliance Infocomm, Navi Mumbai.
Description: Developed two very interactive games named Entrap, Reveal for mobile phones by
following coding practices and testing strategy and learned the way how a corporate software company
works.
