mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
sc: Single Crochet
dec: Decrease. Single Crochet 2 stitches together
inc: Increase. Single Crochet 2 stitches into the same Stitch
BLO: Back Loops Only (single crochet into the back loops)
FLO: Front Loops Only (single crochet into the front loops)
Hdc: Half Double Crochet
Hdc inc: Half Double Crochet increase (2 hdc into one stitch)
Dc: Double Crochet
Dc inc: Double Crochet increase (2 dc into one stitch)
sl st: Slip Stitch
st(s): Stitch(es)
F/O: Finish off. Meaning to cut the yarn, and weave and sew in the yarn tails.
(..sts): will indicate the total number of stitches for each round.
Bobble: Yarn over, insert hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull
through 2 loops. Repeat again into the same stitch. There will be 3 loops left on your hook. Yarn
over and pull through all the loops on your hook. Bobble has now been made. One loop will now
remain on your hook to continue onto the next part of the pattern.
Notes:
• This pattern is made by working in continuous rounds. Do not join the rounds unless otherwise
instructed to do so.
• Mark every 1st stitch of each round with a stitch marker. Remember to move your stitch marker
at the start of each round.
• When changing colour yarn, on the last stitch before the colour change do your last yarn over
with the new colour yarn.
• You will need to do a clean F/O at certain points in the pattern. I use this for the arms and legs.
To do this insert your yarn needle into the 2nd stitch from your F/O and pull through the yarn.
Next insert your yarn needle down into the middle of the last sc you made on the last round and
pull through the yarn.

Arms - (Make 2)
With 2.5mm crochet hook and White colour yarn.
Rnd 1: Make a Magic Ring. Ch 1, work 6 sc into the ring. (The 1st sc out
of the 6 sc is your 1st st of the round and will be the st to mark with your
stitch marker). Pull the ring closed. (6sts)
Rnd 2: inc, sc into next 5sts (7sts)
Rnd 3: inc into next 2sts, sc into next 5sts (9sts)
Rnds 4-5: sc into each st (9sts)
Rnd 6: Make a Bobble into next st, sc into next 8sts (9sts)
Rnd 7: Dec x2 times, sc into next 5sts (7sts)
Rnd 8: Dec, sc into next 5sts (6sts) Stuff the hand with some toy
stuffing.
Rnd 9: sc into each st (6sts) Change to Cream yarn

Join Claret colour yarn in the 1st stitch of row 2 with a slip stitch
Row 3: *ch 3 , sc into next st* Repeat from * to * to end of the row. F/O
Wrap a cuff around each arm at the colour changes on row 24 (with row 3 being the bottom of the
cuff) using the parchment yarn tail, sew the two sides of the cuff together then sew row 1 of the
cuff to the arm along row 24 of the arm. Hide yarn tail inside arm.
Legs - (Make 2)
With 2.5mm crochet hook and Black colour yarn.
Rnd 1: Ch 6, starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc into next 4sts, sc 3
sts into the last st, continue on the opposite side of the chain, sc into next
3sts, inc in the last st (12sts)
Rnd 2: inc, sc into next 3sts, inc in next 3sts, sc into next 4sts, inc into the
last st (17sts)
Rnd 3: *sc into next 2 sts, inc* Repeat from * x5 times, sc into next 2 sts
(22sts)
Rnd 4: sc into each st (22sts)
Rnd 5: sc into next 8sts, dec x4, sc into next 6sts (18sts)

• 1st leg, add a stitch marker to the 13th stitch, then clean F/O.
• 2nd leg, add a stitch marker to the 6th stitch, then clean F/O.

Wrap the last 2 cuffs around each leg at the colour changes on
row 18 (with row 3 being the bottom of the cuff) using the
parchment yarn tail, sew the two sides of the cuff together then
sew row 1 of the cuff to the leg along row 18 of the leg. Hide
yarn tail inside leg.
Using Claret colour yarn and a pom pom maker make 2 pom
poms. Sew a pom pom onto each foot.
Leg joining
With 2.5mm crochet hook and Parchment colour yarn.
•Stuff the remaining rounds of the legs that do not have any
stuffing in them yet, then slowly start to stuff the area you have just made from the leg joining.
Body
Continue from where we left off with the leg joining with Parchment colour yarn and 2.5mm
crochet hook.
Rnd 4: sc into next 5sts, dec, sc into next 8sts, dec, sc into next 3sts (18sts)
Rnds 5-6: sc into each st (18sts)
Rnd 7: sc into next 6sts, inc, sc into next 8sts , inc, sc into next 2sts (20sts)
Rnd 8: sc into each st (20sts)
•Insert your 12.5cm rod and stuff firmly around the rod to keep it in place.
Rnd 9: *sc into next 4sts, inc* Repeat from * to end of the round (24sts)
Rnd 10: sc into next 11sts, inc x3, dec x2, inc x3, sc into next 3sts (28sts)
Rnd 11: sc into next 7sts, inc, sc, inc, sc into next 2sts, inc, sc into next 2sts,
inc, sc into next 2sts, inc, sc, inc, sc into next 7sts (34sts)
Rnd 12: sc into each st (34sts)
Rnd 13: sc into next 7sts, dec, sc, dec x3, sc into next 2sts, dec x3, sc, dec, sc
into next 7sts (26sts)
• make sure sure you have finished stuffing the body, if your rod is not tight around your neck of
the doll, make sure to add stuffing to make it firm.
Head
Continue from where we left off with the body
• Thread yarn needle with some scrap yarn and insert this into the 31st stitch of Rnd 10. This will
be the guide for the nose.
• After round 12 place a scrap piece of yarn into 28th stitch and 35th stitch of Rnd 12. These will
be the guides for the eyes.
• insert the Black Safety eyes into the 28th stitch and 35th stitch (the two stitches you marked in
Rnd 12). Now stuff the head. Continue to stuff the head
as you finish the last few Rounds.
Rnd 21: *sc into next 5sts, dec* Repeat from * to the end
of the round (36sts)
Rnd 22: *sc into next 4sts, dec* Repeat from * to the end
of the round (30sts)
Rnd 23: *sc into next 3sts, dec* Repeat from * to the end
of the round (24sts)
Rnd 24: *sc into next 2sts, dec* Repeat from * to the end
of the round (18sts)
Rnd 25: *sc, dec* Repeat from * to the end of the round
(12sts)
Rnd 26: dec around (6sts) F/O leaving a length of yarn
and close up the hole in the top of head and hide yarn tail
inside head.

Nose
Find the stitch mark from Rnd 10 of the head. Place a pin 1st
either side of this mark. Remove stitch mark. Cut a piece of
Claret yarn and thread onto yarn needle. Sew a line from one
pin to the other pin, repeat this 2 more times. Hide yarn tail
inside the head.
Mouth
Count 2 rows down from the nose, place a pin either side with
6 stitches apart. Thread needle with Cream yarn and sew a
line from pin to pin. Repeat the line 2 more times. Now thread
yarn needle with Claret yarn and sew a line under the Cream
line coming out and going back in the same stitches as the
cream yarn, then bring your yarn out one stitch away from
where the cream yarn starts and going back in one stitch away
from where the cream yarn ends, this line will be above the
cream lines. Hide yarn tail inside head.
Eyelids - (Make 2)
With White colour yarn and 2mm crochet hook ch 4, make sure to leave a long starting tail. F/O
leaving a tail for sewing.
Eyes
•Sew the two yellow chains to the outer corners of the eyes. Then sew the white two chains next
to the yellow ones. With the two White eyelid chains, sew one on top of each eye. Then sew a

black chain going across the top for each eye. With the remaining yarn tails from the black chains
sew 3 eye lashes on each eye.
Face Details
Ears - (make 2)
With 2.5mm crochet hook and White colour yarn
Rnd 1: Make a Magic Ring. Ch 1, work 4 sc into the ring. Pull the ring closed. (6sts) F/O leaving
enough yarn to sew ears to the head. Count 9 stitches either side of the nose and place a pin.
Sew both ears where you have placed the pin.
Skirt
With 2.5mm crochet hook and Parchment colour yarn. Holding doll upside down find the front
loops left from Rnd 1 of the body, join yarn at the back
in the middle with a slip stitch.
Skirt 2
With 2.5mm crochet hook and Cream colour yarn. Holding
doll upside down find the front loops left from Rnd 10 of the
leg joining, join yarn at the back in the middle with a slip
stitch.
Rnd 1: sc into the same stitch as the slip stitch, then sc into
the rest of the front loops (24sts) join with a slip stitch
Rnd 2: ch 3 (counts as 1st dc) dc into same st, dc inc into
the rest of the sts (48sts) join to top of chain 3 with slip
stitch.
Rnd 3: ch 3 (counts as 1st dc) dc into same st, dc inc, dc,
*dc inc x2 times, dc* Repeat from * to the end of the round

Skirt 3
With 2.5mm crochet hook and Claret colour yarn. Holding
the doll upside down find the back loop from rnd 4 of
skirt 2, join yarn at the back in the middle with a slip
stitch.
Belt
With 2.5mm crochet hook and Claret colour yarn
Row 1: chain 27, starting in 2nd chain from hook sc into each st
(26sts)
Rows 2 - 3: chain 1 and turn, sc into each st (26sts) F/O leaving a
tail for sewing.
Wrap the chain around the waist of the doll with the two ends at the
back of the doll, using the yarn tail sew the two sides together then
sew to the back of the doll.
Bow
With 3.00mm crochet hook and Claret Colour yarn
Rnd 1: chain 36, join to the 1st chain with a sc, sc into the remaining
chains (36sts)
Rnds 2-4: *sc into the next 2sts, hdc into the next 3sts , dc into the
next 8sts, hdc into the next 3sts, sc into the next 2sts* Repeat from
*to* to the end of the round (36sts)
Rnd 5: sc into each st around (36sts)
F/O leaving a length of yarn for sewing.
Middle of Bow
With 3.00mm crochet hook and Claret Colour yarn
Row 1: chain 11, starting in the 2nd chain from hook, sc into
the next 10sts, (10sts)
Rows 2-4: chain1 and turn, sc into each st across, (10sts)
F/O leaving a length of yarn for sewing.
Wrap the bow yarn tail around the middle of the bow 3 times,
and secure with a couple of stitches. Take the middle of the
bow and wrap around the centre of the bow, sew the two
edges together, sew the bow in the middle of the belt at the
back of the doll.

Ruffles
With 2.5mm crochet hook and Cream colour yarn
Row 1: chain 13, starting in the 2nd chain from hook sc into
each st (12sts)
Row 2: chain 1 and turn, working FLO sc into each st
(12sts)
Row 3: chain 3 and turn, 3 dc into each st (36sts)
Row 4: chain 3 and turn, * 3 dc into next 2 sts, 2 dc into
next 2 sts * Repeat from * to * to the end of the row. F/O
leaving a length of yarn.
Row 1: join Cream yarn in the 1st back loop from row 2
with a slip stitch, chain 3, 3 dc into each st (36sts) F/O
leaving a length of yarn for sewing.
Wrap the ruffles around the neck of the doll, with the smaller
ruffle on top of the larger ruffle. Join the two sides together with the yarn tails, then weave and
hide yarn tails inside the head of the doll.
Wig Cap
With 3.00mm crochet hook and Copper colour yarn
Rnd 6: *( sc in next 4sts, inc )* Repeat from * to the end of the round. (36sts)
Rnd 7: *( sc in next 5sts, inc )* Repeat from * to the end of the round. (42sts)
Rnds 8-13: sc into each st (42sts)
Rnd 14:
sc into the next 13sts,
Sc into the next st, chain 13, starting in 2nd chain from hook *sc, inc* repeat from * x6 times
Sc into the next 20sts
Sc into the next st, chain 13, starting in 2nd chain from hook
*sc, inc* repeat from * x6 times
Sc into the last 7sts, F/O and leave a long tail for sewing.
Place the wig cap onto the dolls head, lining up the two chains
of 13 either side of the ears. With the yarn tail sew the wig cap
along the edge to the dolls head.
Bangs
With 3.00mm crochet hook and Copper yarn
Chain 11, starting in 2nd chain from hook sc into the next
10sts, chain 8, starting in 2nd chain from hook sc into next
7sts, chain 8, starting in 2nd chain from hook sc into next 7sts,

Pin the row of chains 4 rows back from the front of the
wig cap. Sew along the top securing the chains into
place.
With the last two chains (chains of 11) take one to the
middle and secure, then take the last chain and do the
same. You will now have created a nice point to the
bangs.
Ponytails - (Make 2)
With 3.00mm crochet hook and Copper yarn.
Chain 17, starting in 2nd chain from hook, *sc, inc* repeat
from * to * to the end of the chain
Chain 17, starting in 2nd chain from hook, *sc, inc* repeat
from * to * to the end of the chain
Chain 21, starting in 2nd chain from hook, *sc, inc* repeat
from * to * to the end of the chain
Chain 21, starting in 2nd chain from hook, *sc, inc* repeat
from * to * to the end of the chain
Chain 27, starting in 2nd chain from hook, *sc, inc* repeat
from * to * to the end of the chain
Chain 27, starting in 2nd chain from hook, *sc, inc* repeat
from * to * to the end of the chain
F/O leaving a tail for sewing.
Fold the ponytails in half and sew along the top edge. Pin each ponytail either side of the head.
With the yarn tails sew into place.
Finishing Details
