Production Planning and Control

1. Phase of production planning and production control.


 Coca-Cola is produced by a process known as continuous flow
production.

2. Planning for the demand fluctuation.


 Coca-Cola works in a make-to-stock situation. Since Coke
usually distributes bulk goods, this method will help deliver
quicker service to consumers from existing supply while still
lowering costs.

3. Items are prepared to order or with forecast.

4. Procedures to manufacture pizza.


 The syrup is sent to a processing plant, where it is combined
with other ingredients including filtered water and
sweeteners.

Quality Control

1. Quality control technique adopted for raw material.


 Coca-Cola Company establishes quality standards for their
products, which include sugar levels, CO2 levels, bottle
cleanliness, bottle condition, and even taste, all of which
must meet the company's requirements.

2. Maintenance of quality in the process of manufacture.


 Coca-Cola ensures that all goods bearing its name follow its
stringent consistency and food safety requirements, as well
as the standards of downstream consumers.

3. Method of quality control technique (i.e. inspection or sampling


technique)
 Coca-Cola Company uses EBI (Electronic Bottle Inspection)
operational system.
4. Quality control tools used (i.e. Pareto chart, Scatter diagram
etc.)
 The instruments used by the Coca-Cola Company for quality
control are the Pareto Chart and the Cause-Effect Diagram or
Fish-bone Chart. Coca-Cola Company will sort and decide the
majority defect of Coca-Cola by using a Pareto Chart, as well
as the causes of defect that will be examined later.

5. Application of control charts (i.e. control charts for variable


i.e. thickness and size of pizza, and for attributes i.e. number of
defects in process of manufacturing)
 Statistical Quality Control (SPC) technique is used by coca
cola it’s a very useful tool for checking the quality and
standard of a production process. And it is used to confirm
the quality level of the production process.

6. Types of errors in accepting or rejecting samples (i.e. accepting


bad one and rejecting good one or vice versa).

7. Total quality Management approach for continual improvement of
quality.
 The Coca-Cola Company benefits greatly from T.Q.M. The board,
the stakeholders, and the client are all satisfied. They are
deliberate actions taken by the company to ensure that all of
its options are investigated and implemented in such a way
that the end result is favorable to the end customer.

8. Quality standard certification obtained if any.


 The corporation considered its choices and determined that
certification to a GFSI scheme as well as ISO specifications
would not only meet consumer needs, but would also be an
integral part of a redeveloped Coca-Cola quality regime that
would maintain global continuity.
