Conventional Detection
Audible/Visible Notification
HVAC Systems Monitoring
Sprinkler Systems Monitoring
At System Sensor, innovation is more than an ideal; innovation is our way of life. Every day we design new products that are convenient
to install and efficient to operate, providing our customers with the highest level of reliability. In other words, we make it our business to
develop advanced ideas that deliver advanced solutions.
This product guide is divided into four areas:
Conventional Detection – a complete line of smoke detectors led by the innovative i3 Series.™
Audible/Visible Notification – the SpectrAlert® Advance line, the industry’s newest, most refined series of notification devices.
HVAC Systems Monitoring – the Innovair™ line and other specialty detectors designed to detect smoke in air duct networks.
Sprinkler Systems Monitoring – products designed to sense the flow of water through pipes, switches and valves.

Conventional Detection
i 3 Series™ Photoelectric Smoke Detectors
Installation ease, intelligence and instant inspection are the guiding principles of the System Sensor
i3 Series photoelectric smoke detectors. The i3 Series is a complete line – standard, sounder,
auxiliary Form C relay and isolated thermal models – featuring plug-in bases, removable
covers, remote maintenance signaling, drift compensation and smoothing algorithms, green
and red LEDs, and simplified sensitivity measurement.

CO1224T Carbon Monoxide Detector

The CO1224T detector with RealTest™ is the industry’s first carbon monoxide detector specifically
designed for system connection. It is designed to maximize profits and minimize installation costs
with code compliant features such as a trouble relay that sends a sensor failure or end-of-life signal
to the control panel, and SEMS type terminal Philips-head screws that provide a quick and positive
wiring connection while facilitating wiring supervision. The CO1224T unit also features a low cur-
rent draw, which allows more detectors to be connected to the panel without having to purchase a
more expensive panel or extra power supply.

During a fire, an HVAC system can circulate toxic gasses and smoke throughout a
building — unless that building is equipped with InnovairFlex™ duct smoke detectors.
Overcome Mounting Constraints – InnovairFlex housings can accommodate multiple
installation footprints, including rectangular, square, and anything in between.
Reduce Installation Time – Sampling tubes can be installed from the front or back of
the detector without the need for tools or hardware. Additional conduit openings,
improved wiring space, and high-contrast terminal designations simplify the installa-
tion process further.
Simplify Testing and Maintenance – On 4-wire models an easy access test/reset button
simplifies system testing, and Power, Trouble, Maintenance, and Alarm LEDs assure
quick and convenient status checks. The cover missing trouble signal, now included
on all models, assures system integrity.
