Important Flight Information

Proof of Identification
• Passengers need to present the following:
• For domestic travel passengers are required to present a valid Government document or National Identity
document/card, or passport.
• For international travel passengers are required to present a passport, valid for at least six (6) months from the date
of departure and has two blank pages, and a relevant visa/travel documents as may be required by the
transfer/destination country.
• Passengers who are unable to provide the required travel documentation as detailed above shall not be allowed to travel.
The ticket will be rendered invalid.

Cabin Baggage
• You are permitted one (1) piece of Cabin Baggage. Cabin Baggage can weigh no more than 7 kg with maximum
dimensions of 55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm.
• You are also permitted to carry a small handbag or personal item that must fit under the seat in front with maximum
dimensions of 40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm.
• An adult travelling with an infant may take an additional small bag containing immediate-use items.

Checked Baggage
• Value and Value Flex fares include a Maximum of 23kg, restricted to 1 x Piece of Checked Baggage.*
• Value Plus fares include a Maximum of 32kg, restricted to 2 x Pieces of Checked Baggage.*
*For all routes that are operated on an Embraer EMB 120 aircraft type, the free checked baggage allowance permitted is
one (1) piece of Checked Baggage with a maximum weight of 20 kg.
• Additional Checked Baggage allowances may be purchased.
• Any Checked Baggage item exceeding 23 kg is subject to excess weight fees as per our Fees and Charges schedule. For
safety reasons, no single item shall exceed 32 kg or a combined dimension of 319 cm.

Check-in and Boarding

• Online check-in opens 24 hours and closes three (3) hours before the scheduled departure time.

the scheduled departure of your flight.

Our airport check-in desks open two (2) hours before departure, closing at precisely 40 minutes prior to the scheduled

• Value Plus customers will enjoy the benefit of dedicated check-in with an exclusive and separate check-in queue.
• Boarding gates close twenty (20) minutes before the scheduled departure time.
• If you arrive late for check-in or at the gate, you will not be allowed to board the aircraft and your flight ticket will be
rendered invalid.

Airport Lounge Access

• Value Plus customers enjoy the benefit of complimentary lounge services when travelling to and from most fastjet
destinations.
 • Lounge services are available two (2) hours prior to a flight departure and limited to a single entry per booked customer.
• A lounge pass will be issued at check-in counters only.
• All lounge services are subject to the service providers terms and conditions of service.
• Lounge services may vary, the offering can include dedicated seating arrangements, access to a snack item, general
reading material, media, and workstations.
• A lounge pass is valid for the date of issue only and may not be exchanged, bartered, or accumulated for use at a later
date.
