Mara!!! Mara!! My mum called from waking

me up from my sleep. Mum am wake stop yelling
I yelled back angrily. Mum is so annoying I
thought as I stood up from my bed and moved to
the bathroom to freshen up.

My name is Mara Gomez. I am 23 years old, i

graduated at the age of 21 but yet to start
working, my mum has a grocery shop so I always
help her in selling. Tho I always cause trouble in

We are neither rich nor poor, we were in the

When my mum saw I started growing muscles

she forced me to stop which I did reluctantly, no

the bathroom, I cleaned my body with my towel
and dried my long hair, truly I wanted to be a
guy I never thought of cutting my hair, It's so
precious to me.

Tho I always pack it in a donut style and keep it

cream top, I wore it and also wore my Adidas

move now or we are going to get to the shop late.

She nodded as we both moved out of the house.

We walked down the street, I continued

Christian's POV

Can you please move faster!! I yelled at my

Driver driving my car, I am Christian Stone, my
friends call me Chris. I am the sole hair of the
stone company. I am 25 years old and I
graduated at age 23.

I live alone in my own big mansion, tho my

parents come to visit every time. I take nonsense
from anyone, I am so arrogant and am proud of
it. I f**k anything f**kable because I don't have
feelings no emotions. I hate working with ladies,

complained countless times but I refused, even
my cook was a guy but I sacked him when he

I was still selling my mother's groceries with her

still busy selling groceries. I bent down using the
table of groceries to cover myself, I crawled as I
moved from where I was without my mum

I ran to the back of the shop and stepped outside

will destroy your shop one of the guys said.
Destroy!! I said as my eyes opened wide.

Oh no I can't let them do this I thought, my mum

was already crying, I swear she is not here, you
can search around, please don't destroy my only
source of income. I promise when she comes I
will send her to you.

They laughed as the guy I hit instructed them to

start destroying things, destroy everything!! He
yelled. I quickly ran out from my hiding place.

There she is they shouted as they ran towards

me, f**k!!! I said as I ran out of the shop heading
to where only God knows. They started pursuing

I sighted a car parked in front of me, the door

side the driver in front was opened. Yes! I said as

Mara's POV

Ohh no, its the demi god I said again, why must it
be him I said as I held my head in my hands.
Mara do you know him? My mum asked me. Yea
mom, I said we have met before I said angrily.

sees you since you have met before she said
happily. i looked at her in disgust, she doesn't
even know how we met and she is talking like
this.

I faked a smiled and nodded reluctantly. So tell

me how did you meet my mum said facing me
properly and smiling, ernnn mom you know
what let's forget about that and think of how the
interview will go I said between gritted teeth.
Mum when is the interview, I asked. Its
tomorrow morning dear by 8am, don't worry it
will be fine.

Okay mom I said as I ran to my room and

slammed the door, oh God this is bad, So he is
Christian Stone, I started pacing around my room
thinking of what to do. I can't let mom know I got
into trouble with him again.

I picked up my phone and called Cindy, she

picked up at the first ring.

(The interview)

Mara's POV
...The next day....

I woke up very early in the morning, I was so

nervous about the interview. I was up all night
rehearsing how I was going to behave like a fool.
I got up and went to the bathroom, I stood in
front of my bathroom mirror and started
blushing.

I took my bath in warm water and moved out to

get dressed. I creamed my body and dried my
hair, I opened my wardrobe and stood in front of
it confused. I don't even know the cloth to pick.

I searched through it and saw a crazy jean wuth

straps attached to it I had not worn for a very
long time, I smiled and brought it out, I missed
you dummy I said as I kissed the jean trouser. I
looked for a top and I saw a very big top with a
rock star drawn on it like a cartoon.

Perfect I said as I picked it and wore it, I wore the

crazy jean and fixed the straps. I packed my hair
the normal way i do pack it, I took a black face
cap and wore it. I got to my shoe rack and took a
whit snickers from it.

I stood in front of my mirror, yes!!! Am good to

go I said. I picked up my phone and checked the
time it was 7:00am, am quite early I said as I
bounced out of my room to the sitting room.

I got there and found mom waiting for me, she

was dressed in one of her favorite, I looked at
her surprised and smikied. Mom what's the
occasion?? I asked as I got close to her? Am
following you to the interview and I need to look

for the interview. My mom became scared as she

waited and watched how people were coming
out in tears from the mansion. I became so

Number 39!! A man called from inside the

mansion, I quickly stood up and faced my mom,

walked in with my mom holding my hands.

Chris POV

i was already becoming so tired of the interview

shit, look liam am tired of this nonsense, I
warned mom but she wouldn't listen. All the
people that have been coming in I don't like any
of them please stop this interview.

I will explain to mom later, I stood up and was

about walking to the inner room when another
person came in. I was backing the person and
liam, Please sir let's take this last one, it may be a
success he said.

I have made my final decision liam I yelled

As soon as Chris left us in the room, I was happy

and sad at the same time. I was happy that my
mom was happy and I was sad because I know
that Chris is going to torture me, its so obvious.

We sat in front of liam, and he gave me a paper

of what I will be doing in the house. I read
silently as my mom watched me smiling. There
were over 20 works to do, my eyes widened as I
started going through them.

Chris POV

i was under my shower bathing, I closed my eyes

as the hot water poured on me. I heard the music
I played in my room clearly, I started singing
loudly too that's how I do everyday. I play music
anytime I want to shower and sing along very

My bathroom is sound proof so as I my room so
anyone doesn't here me from outside but I hear
noises from outside clearly in my room. I
continued singing under the shower when the

Gosh I hate hip hops, I can't believe that sing is

on my music player I muttered. I came out of the
shower and tied a towel around my waist, I need
to change that f**king sing I said as I stormed

I got to my room and the music was so loud, I

saw someone backing me and dancing,the

stood there and watched in anger. The person

I quickly looked at him when he yelled, I was so

scared, he is the first person I would be scared of
in my entire life and I don't know why. I looked
into his face and was determined not to look
down.

I saw his smile, Gosh!! I felt shivers run down my

spine, his hair was dripping wet and his lips and
eyes were so cute, gosh I feel like kiss him right
now I thought. My eyes moved down from his
face to his neck.
I tired cautioning myself but I couldn't, my gaze
landed on his chest and my mouth dropped open,

i watched her drool over me and I felt to proud

seeing her like that, I can't believe she has a soft
spot after how she behaved when we met. I
moved closer to her and she continued walking

I was so carried away with his beauty and all I

angry and he got what he deserved I thought
smiling as I walked down the stairs to the sitting
room.

I sighted liam watching a movie as I got down the

stairs, liam! I called. He looked back at me, hey
boy he said smiling. He is so dumb, how will he

signed contract, those a boy bear linda I thought.

I faked a smile and walked up to him, please I

need a females uniform, I am not a guy I said
rolling my eyes. Like seriously you are not?? He

I removed the old uniform and wore the new

been sacked just because of mother nothing else
I thought. I went to the mirror stand and I looked

The gown barely touched my knees, Gosh its too

short I have never worn something like this. But

Oh liam I said smiling. I took my face cap and
wore it.

Why?? I asked angrily, well its not part of the

recommended uniform so its not allowed, he said
smiling. Okay fine I said as I removed the face
reluctantly and dripped it on the clothes that I

thought as I smiled back. I will show you off to
your new room he said and led me out to the
passage.

We got to a door and he opened it, we both

moved inside. Wow!!! I said as I walked forward

was painted pink in color, its my best color I

smiling.

He came In very well and dropped the key on the

drawer beside the bed, I have to go now, I have
to attend to some things he said. Ohh yes, thank

continued examining the room when my phone

The boss sighted us from the living room and ran

Chris POV

I sat in the living room staring at Benita who was

laughing like a witch as she watched the TV. I
don't even know what to say or do.
Mara is super angry with me and now a child is
brought to me. This is just too much. I was still
thinking of Mara when the door opened and
Liam came in holding Mara in his hands. I stood
up and ran to meet them.

"What happened!" I yelled in fear collecting her

from Liam.

carried her in a bridal style and moved to her
room, I laid her on her bed and looked at her in

doing here?? What is going on?? Is it because of

"Liam,we can't say this here. Let us move to the

swimming pool" I said and we both moved to the

Benita's POV

I moved my bag to Chris room in joy. I can't

believe he is mine after all these years. Since the
day he f**ked me, I had never stopped loving
him.

I tried telling him about my feelings but he

ignored me, telling me he was not ready for any
feelings. I was so hurt and decided to have him to
myself.

I got pregnant for him on the long run and went

to his office to tell him and in the presence of
Liam he asked me to get rid of it and gave me
some amount of money.

I felt so pained when he told me I should get rid

of it, since then I knew he would never love me. I
decided to get rid of the pregnancy to forget
about Christian Stone finally.

I got the termination done and I almost died in

the process but the doctor saved me, he started
checking up on me daily and then we started
having an affair.

He comes to my house to f**k, telling me how

much he loves me. I became pregnant for him
and I told him. I told him it was time for us to
make the relationship official.

I woke up feeling an urgent need to puke, I

quickly stood up and ran into the toilet to throw
up. I threw up in the basin and took some water

I felt slight headache and I walked into the room

holding my head. I opened my eyes properly and
noticed I was now in Chris house.

"How did I get here??" I thought loudly as I

remembered the incident of yesterday. My eyes
widen as it got to the part of Regal.

"Oh no, Regal took me to his house" I thought in

it sleeping.

"Mara" she jumped up coming to meet me. "Are

I nodded and sat on the bed. "I can't remember

how I got here Cindy" I mumbled holding my
head.

smiling.
 " We saw you in the arms of a random guy, he
was taking you to his house. We traced both of
you and we stood at his window watching both
of you. He almost kissed you but liam stopped
the act." She said brushing my hair with her
palm.

"You shouldn't have brought me here Cindy. I

don't want to ever see this house" I replied
angrily.

"Mara you need to calm down" she said holding

my hand on hers.

"Calm down!! He has a child Cindy, the mother is

here to claim her position in this house. Who am
I then??" I yelled angrily.

"Mara!! Listen to me!!!" She yelled and I fell to

the bed weeping.

"Mara this is Christian Stone's past okay??? Yes,

he was a player back then but he has changed

said calmly.

"Cindy, don't you get it??? He has a child with

I watched her trying really hard to calm down.

"Good, then fight for your love. Do anything to

take your place in this house okay??" She said
smiling.

plan.

smiled widely looking at her.

"Christian Stone is yours and liam is mine" she

said blushing and my eyes widened.

Chris POV

Liam and I left the pool after discussing some

other issues Including his relationship with
Cindy. Well am so happy for him, I would have
killed him if he made advances to Mara again.

"You need to go talk to her now" liam said as we

got into the house. I nodded and moved to her
room, I opened the door slightly and I found her
and Cindy chatting happily.

I walked in with a remorseful face and when

they saw me they stopped smiling. Mara couldn't
even look at me.

"I will leave you two" Cindy said and left the
room.

"Mara" I called solemnly.

"Hi" she replied coldly.

"Mara, I am sorry. I know I have no excuse but

front of her as I felt tears wet my eyes.

She turned her face to me and I could see tears in

in pains.

She disengaged from the hug and stared at my

waist her pulling her into my arms.

"What would I do without her" I thought still

able to touch her today.

"Chris!!" I heard Benita call sweetly making me

disengage from the hug. I looked away from
Nara in shame but she pulled my face to hers.

I watched her smile at me in disgust. If not for

Regal's POV

Chris POV

I left the dinning table to my room to have a

.... The next morning...

Benita's POV

I woke up tracing the bed with my hand to see if

Chris was laying there but I was wrong I couldn't
feel anything.

I opened my eyes and came down from the bed

adjusting my night gown. I moved out of the
room to look for him.

He promised me that he was going to come later

but he didn't show up. I moved down the stairs to
see him laying on the couch snoring,his laptop
was on his lap

"Chris"i called smiling.

" hunn...huh..." He grumbled turning on the

couch. I walked close to him and carried his
laptop placing it on the centre table.

I opened his eyes rubbing his hands on them like

a baby. "You fell asleep here yesterday" I said
sitting close to him.

replied yawning.

"Awwnn baby looks so tired, you need to sleep

"Yes Benita, I will go up now" he said smiling as

Chris left my room very early this morning after

using my phone as I guide.

I got to the location after 2 hours of rough riding.

It was a deserted area and all I saw were trees
around me.

I brought looked at my phone and I saw the red

dot blinking very close to where I was. I raised
my head up to catch a glimpse of her but I
couldn't.

I stared moving close to the red dot until I was

there and I saw a taxi in front of me. I ran to the
taxi to see if she was inside, bit to my suprise it
was empty.

I looked in through the glass of the window

which have been rolled up already. I saw a red
light blinking at the back seat and I quickly
moved there.

"Mara phone?" I asked as I saw her phone on the

floor.

"Where in heavens sake is she??? Who the hell

did this???" I yelled in anger.

I looked at my phone to see if there were any

houses close by and then I sighted a house some
meters away from where I stood.

It was the only house there. "I am sure she ia

around here" I thought as I moved to the
direction of the house.

Chapter 40

Mara's POV

I opened my eyes slowly in an unfamiliar room. I

looked around me and I couldn't see anyone. I
was on the bed and I was covered by a duvet.

I sat up staring at the room and trying to

recollect how I got here. I remembered when I
entered the taxi and when the driver pressed
something to me at the back sit.

"Hello!!" I yelled in fear and moved towards the

door. I got to the door and turned the handle but
it was locked.

"Hello!!! Help me!!!" I yelled hitting the door. I

felt dizzy as I did and I moved back holding my
head.
I closed my eyes and I heard the door open. I
opened my eyes and I saw someone walk in. My
vision was blurry at first but it later became
clear.

"Regal??" I said looking at him in shock.

"Mara" he called and walked up to me helping

me sit.

"Regal thank God you are here. I was kidnapped,

please help me out" I said happily.

"Mara I brought you here" he said smiling and I

felt my mouth fall open.

"What?? You sent that man to kidnap me??

Why??" I asked still very surprised.

"Because I want you to be mine Mara. Since high

school I had always loved you but I was scared to
come meet you" he said sitting on a chair right in
front of me.

"Regal.." I said but was cut off my him.

"I later heard you were in Christian Stone's

mansion, I became so angry. I knew very well
that Christian Stone' is a player" he said holding
my hands but I withdrew ot from his hand.

"Chris is not a player anymore okay?? I took you

as my friend Regal" I said shaking my head in
disgust.

"He isn't and you ran out of his mansion in tears

the other day. If not for me do you know what
would have happened in that club?" He asked
angrily.

I held my head trying to remember the incident.

"So you are the guy that Cindy told me almost
used me" I said pointing to him.

"Mara I didn't want to use you. I love you so

much I can't hurt you" he said bringing his face
closer to mine.

"I love Christian Stone" I said making him pause.

"What?? Mara that guy is a player. He will hurt

you" he said yelling.

"He would never Regal!!!! Please release me and

let me go please" I said sadly.

"Never!!!!!" He yelled hitting the bed making me

flinch.

firmly. I wanted to talk again but I felt an urgent
urge to puke.

"Where is the restroom?" I asked in haste. He

looked at me and pointed to a door at my left.

I ran to the toilet and threw up in the basin. I

raised my head up breathing hard. I need to
escape, I am not feeling well at all.

"Are you okay??" He asked from outside the

toilet.

"I am fine" I replied looking around for any

escape route but there was none except a
window right ontop of the water closest.

An idea dropped in my mind immediately and I

decided to try it because it is worth trying. I miss
mother and Chris already.

I climbed on the lavatory and stretched my

hands to the window. It had no burglary so it
would be easy to jump out.

I climbed to the wall and I peeped out of the

window. I was on the third floor, "gracious God,
how am I going to jump this" I thought in fear.

I looked around and I saw a tree close to the

window, it was a little bit far. Oh no, how will I
make it if I jumped on the tree from here.

"Mara are you there?" Regal said from outside

the toilet but I didn't reply. "Mara" he called
again but I was silent praying for Gods safety as I
was going to jump.

"One, two, three" I counted in my mind and

jumped towards the tree as I heard the toilet
door flung open.

I landed on the tree with my hands on a thick

branch. I breathed out heavily and jumped down
from the tree.

"She is trying to escape" I heard Regal yell as he

watched me from the window in annoyance. I
started running to only heaven knows.

I just wanted to leave that place. Mother and

Chris would be very worried by now, I need to
see them.

I ran past a narrow path and as I got to the

narrow path I saw Chris searching everywhere
but he was backing me so he didn't see me.

I was about calling him when I felt a plan block

my mouth. "Hmmmmm" I groaned but he didn't
release his hand.

I tried biting his palm but I couldn't. He pulled

me back into the house and I couldn't help but
cry, Chris should have atleast looked back.

I was dragged into the room I was with Regal

before, the man that brought me there locked the
door behind me leaving me with Regal.

"Regal please let me go" I said in tears as I saw

him move to me in anger.

"You can't run away from me" he yelled and

dragged me to him kissing me aggressively. I bit
his lips and he released his grip on me.

I ran to window and looked out to see Chris

searching around the house. I faced Regal and
saw him moving to me in anger.

I quickly brought out my wallet from my pocket

and threw it to the fall still staring at Regal in
tears.

I came to me and dragged me to his bed as he

started removing his clothes.

Chris POV

I heard something drop at my back as I kept

searching for Mara. I looked back and I saw a
wallet on the floor.

I moved to where it was and I saw it was Mara's.

"Mara!" I yelled.

"Chris!!!!" I heared her yell in tears from the

third floor.

"Mara" I called in fears thinking about her

welfare. I thought of entering through the main
door but I couldn't trust that way.

Armed men may be there or even something

worse. I saw a tree that extended its branches
close to the wound I heard Mara's voice.

I ran to the tree and started climbing on it with

great speed and in no time I got close to window.
I climbed to the window and I saw a guy on top
of Mara naked.

I saw her struggling with him and I saw him tear

her top right in front of me. He looked at the
window and saw me on the tree.

"Mara" i yelled and jumped inside. I ran to where

he was and lifted him from Mara in anger, I
pushed him to the wall and I made sure a
powerful fist landed on his face.

His lips bursted immediately and I saw blood

gosh out of his mouth and nose. "How dare you
touch my woman" I yelled in anger moving
towards him.

He tried standing up but I caught up with him

again hitting him very hard on his tummy
making him fall. He groaned loudly and I ran to
Mara who was weeping.

"Mara, I am so sorry" I said pulling her into my

arms.

"Chris he..he almost raped me" she stammered in

tears.

"I am here now baby. Everything will be okay" I

said brushing her hair.

"Believe me I tried fighting back but I couldn't, I

am so weak" she said sniffing Carter.

"You dare come into my territory hun?" I heard

him laugh sarcastically. My clenched my jaw in
anger and left Mara moving towards him.

"Regal please stop all this nonsense" Mara

replied in tears and I felt pain immediately.

"I will f**king kill you in your territory" I said

and grabbed his throat with so much force. He
struggled to release my hand but he couldn't. No
one hurts my Mara and goes Scot free.
"Now!!" I heard him yell and the door flung open
revealing a guy holding a gun. Instantly, I moved
the so called Regal from the wall and placed him
at my front.

"One shot and he is gone" I said holding him to

myself and walking towards Mara.

"Stay behind me Mara" I said and she did

immediately.

"Lower your gun" Regal said breathing

heavily,and I saw the guy lower his gun.

"Drop your gun now and raise your hands up!" I

yelled and he did immediately. I moved closer to
where the gun was with Regal still in front of me.

I kicked the gun far away from where I was. We

started hearing gunshots and I knew the cops
have arrived.

"Regal your end is now" I said. He raised up his

hand and hit me on my ribs with his elbow
making me loose the grip in him.

I groaned in pain as Mara ran to me. "Chris are

you okay??" She asked but my gaze was glued on
Regal. I saw his pick up the gun and point it to
Mara who was backing him.
"No no" I said shaking my head as he pulled the
trigger. I pushed Mara from me and I felt a great
pain on my arm. I was shot on my arm.

"Ahhhhh" I yelled in pain and I saw Mara look at

me in shock. She fell to the ground unconscious
suddenly. "Mara!!" I yelled in tears.

"Hands up everybody" I heard the cops say as

they rushed into the room we were. Regal
quickly dropped his gun and they captured him
and the other guy immediately.

I saw Liam run inside the room. Immediately he

saw me his eyes widened, "Chris!" He yelled
running to me.

I was losing lots of blood but I have to be strong

for Mara. "I am okay Liam, please rush Mara to
the hospital" I said in tears.

"We are taking you both" he said lifting me up

and I saw Some other cops lift Mara and moved
her outside.

"I wish I can kill that bastard" I said within

gritted teeth.

"No Chris, this is the best thing for him,Let the

cops deal with him. Atleast the mark you have
given him can never be erased till he dies" he
said as we got outside the house.
There was an ambulance waiting outside for us
already. The nurses ran to me and tied my hand
before laying me on the stretcher.

I was moved into the ambulance and I saw Mara

on the stretcher too, she was been attended to. I
was put close to her.

I held her hands in mine praying for her and my

unborn child silently.

... SEMIFINALE...

Cindy's POV

I sat close to Mara's hospital bed with my big

belly praying earnestly for her.I knew weeks
back that she was pregnant but she didn't
believe. I knew because I am also pregnant.

Liam saw that I was getting big and he was

tempted to tell me to do some tests and when it
was out, I was tested pregnant.

I never knew that before Liam proposed to me I

had taken in already. I am so so happy for Mara
and I, I just pray she wake up soon.

Chris later asked me that have I noticed the

sudden change in Mara. She had grown big and
her legs were getting fat.

I told him she was pregnant and he was extra

happy, but I told him to pretend he doesn't know.
It will be part of the suprise on the day he will
propose to her.

Chris, liam and I had planned how the proposal

was going to be and I can't wait for that day.

I was still holding her hands when I saw her

open her eyes tiredly. "Mara" I called happily.

"Cindy" she replied smiling and squeezing my

hand a little. "How is Chris??" She added quickly.

"He is fine Mara" I said smiling.

"How are you feeling?" I added happily.

"I am okay Cindy, but will be very fine if my baby

is with me right now" she said shyly.

"Chris is fine, liam is with him presently. He is

good, he will be here soon" I said and I saw her
smile.

She nodded looking around her. "I feel weak

Cindy I don't know why" she said yawning.

"You just recovering that's why" I said smiling.

She looked at my tummy and I saw her smile
widely.

"How is little liam" she asked touching my belly.

"He is fine. Can't wait to touch your belly too" I

replied grinning.

"Common Cindy, that is not now" she said as we

both giggled.

Chris POV

I sat on my hospital bed chatting with Liam

about our plans for the proposal.

"You know, I want it to be at a shopping mall

where they are many people." I said picturing the
scenario.

"That is a great idea. I will take care of the

choristers and visitors" Liam said happily.

"Thank you liam for everything. For always been

there when I needed you the most" I said holding
his hand in mine.

"Chris don't mention. I am just so happy you

finally thought of settling down. Not only that,
settling down with Mara. She is the best partner
for you" he said smiling and I couldn't help but
pull him into a hug.

"Thank you daddy Junior liam" I said and we

both laughed happily.

"And I am so happy for you guys.. Mara is

pregnant and I know your baby will be so
beautiful." He said.

"Thank you liam" I said blushing.

"Just one thing bothers me" he said.

"What??" I asked nervously.

"The child will be so powerful, am scared that if

he or she punches someone it could lead to
death" he said and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Imagine combining your strength with that of

Mara" he said raising his eyes brows.

"I can imagine" I said admist laughter.

... THREE DAYS LATER...

Mara's POV

I kept feeling weak everyday so I decided to ask

the doctor personally for a test. He did the test
and confirmed me two weeks pregnant.

It was like a dream, I was so happy when I heard

the news. I can't believe I am finally going to give
birth to Chris child. "I won't tell him yet. I want it
to be a suprise" I thought happily

Chris and I were discharged from the hospital

and I am so happy to see he was fine and has
handsome as ever.

I couldn't take it when he took the bullet for me, I

went unconscious due to the shock. I thought I
would never see him again.

Chris held me by my waist out of the hospital and

so did liam to our pregnant Cindy, I am so happy
for them. Can't wait to suprise Chris

We started walking out of the hospital and I

noticed the car wasn't outside.

"Where is the car Chris?" I asked with my head

on his shoulders.

"Mara we are taking a stroll with liam and Cindy

today" he replied smiling as he kissed my lips.

"Sounds nice" I said smiling. We goy to the street

and started walking down.
"Mara come lets walk together" Cindy said
smiling.

"Yes, let us leave the guys alone" I said kissing

Chris before moving to Cindy. Liam moved to
Chris and they started chating walking in front of
us.

"How is the baby Cindy" I asked smiling.

"Fine" she replied touching her stomach.

"I want to tell you something. Promise me you

"What is that?" She whispered back eagerly.

"I am pregnant" I whispered happily Into her

ears.

"Really!!" She whispered happily. I was about

whispering into her ears again when a car
stopped beside me and some masked guys came
out and pulled Cindy and I into the car.

Mara's POV

Our eyes were tied with clothes in the car as we

moved. I held unto Cindy in fear and she did the
same to me too.

I was so shocked to speak up, and I could feel

Cindy breathing hard against me. I tapped her
gently trying to calm her down.

The car came to an halt suddenly and I heard the

door open. I looked to the direction of the sound
holding Cindy more tight.

"Come down miss" i heard a man say.

"Come down to do what?" I asked trying to be

bold.

"Ma'am,we were instructed not to hurt you

please come down" he said and I felt Cindy leave
my side.
"Cindy!! Hold on I am coming with you" I said
and moved to where the light was coming from. I
felt someone hold my hand out of the car.

"Who the hell sent you guys!! I will kill that

person" I yelled as they lead me with my eyes
still tied to only heaven knows.

I heard a door open and I was moved again. The

fear.

"Congratulations ma'am" he said and I heard him

leave.

loose the cloth on my face. I shivered and opened
my eyes gently. Everywhere was dark and I
couldn't see anything.

"Cindy where are they?" I asked looming around.

"Here" she said and the lights came on
immediately revealing a beautiful hall of
different amazing decorations.

I saw some people standing very arranged and

before I knew it they started singing so
beautifully.

"What is going on?" I aksed looking back to see

Cindy smiling behind me.

"Congratulations Mara" she said and I looked at

her confused.

I looked around and I saw Chris coming our from

a door, he was wearing a beautiful white suit. He
looked so handsome, just like a god.

I smiled immediately I saw him, tho I was still

confused about what was going on, but seeing
him gave me joy.

He walked to me smiling and when he was

before me the lights went off and a spotlight was
on us. The choristers kept singing beautifully.

"Chris" I called as he knelt down before me and

bringing out a small box, he opened it and I saw
a beautiful ring in it. It was glowing under the
light.
"Mara, will you be my wife?" He said smiling and
I stood in shock looking at him.

"Is this really happening?? Am in really getting

engaged to Chris??" I thought smiling.

"Yes Chris, I will!" I said happily stretching out

my finger to him. He placed it on my finger and I

I sat on the bed wearing Baby Frederick's diapers

when I felt pain in my tummy. "Cindy" I called in
pain an she ran to me quickly.

"What is wrong Mara?" She asked holding me.

"I think the baby is coming" I said as my water

bag bursted.
"Liam!!!! Chris!!! Mara is in labour!!" She yelled
moving me out of the room.

Chris POV

I rushed Mara to the hospital in my car with the

help of liam and Cindy. She was taken by the
nurses into the labour room.

I kept pacing in front of where Iiam and Cindy

sat. "Bro, calm down she will be fine. Mara is a
strong girl" he said following the way I walked
with his eyes.

"I am trying to be calm but I can't. I am so scared

Liam,I have never felt like this" i said still pacing.

The door opened and the doctor came out of the

ward. We all ran to him as fast as we could.

"How is my wife doctor?" I asked nervously.

"Congratulations Mr Chris, your wife has giving

birth to a bouncing baby boy" he said smiling.

"Yes!!!" I yelled happily hugging him tight. I

quickly disengaged from the hug after
remembering that it was the doctor.

"Am sorry, I am just so happy" I said shyly. "Its

okay I understand. You can see her now. Excuse
me" he said and walked away.

I looked at liam and Cindy and they gave me a go

ahead. I walked into the ward and I saw Mara on
the bed.

I saw a cradle close to her, I rushed to her and

she looked at me smiling.

"We did it Mara. Our baby is here" I said happily

as I moved to where the baby laid.

"Yes Chris. We did it" she replied happily but

tired.

"We will name him Moris. Moris Stone" I said

carrying him from the cradle.

"Nice name baby" she said as I moved close to

her kissing the baby before kissing her.
