The Acko Extended Warranty Plan (hereinafter “Plan”) is offered by Acko Technology & Services Private Limited (hereinafter
“Acko” / “our” / “us”) and made available to you on www.amazon.in and the corresponding mobile site and mobile application
("Amazon.in") by Amazon Seller Services Private Limited ("Amazon"). It is available complimentary with select electronic products
categories of large appliance (Washing machine, Ref rigerator, Microwave oven, Air conditioners, Chimney & Dishwasher)
listed on Amazon.in between October 2023 and November 2023 and shall be effective for the Plan Term (as described below).

This Plan is designed to extend your electronic product’s protection from any inherent manufacturing defects. This Plan is not
valid for refurbished products or second-hand products, or new electronic products purchased anywhere other than through
Amazon.in.

1. Eligibility

The Plan is offered complimentary on purchase of select eligible electronic products categories of large appliance (Washing
machine, Ref rigerator, Microwave oven, Air conditioners, Chimney & Dishwasher) from sellers on Amazon.in. except for
purchases made through Amazon Prime Now App. The extended warranty offer kicks in as soon as the comprehensive brand
warranty on the product is expired. The Plan is available only for new electronic products purchased through Amazon.in.n

2. Features

Acko will provide repair or replacement of your electronic product in the event of any Breakdown (as defined below) during the
Plan Term, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions contained in this Plan, including the extended warranty benefits
described in Schedule 1 below. This will at all times be limited to the invoice value of the covered electronic product.

For the purpose of this Plan, "Breakdown" shall mean any inherent mechanical and electrical breakdown/defects to the
electrical / electronic / mechanical parts of your electronic product, to the extent originally covered under the underlying
manufacturer’s warranty for such electronic product.

The other key features that shall be provided under the Plan include online tracking repair of the damaged electronic product,
and direct settlement of repair requests with you.

3. Plan T erm

The “Plan Term” is for one year commencing from the day immediately succeeding the expiry of any existing comprehensive
warranty for the electronic product provided by the manufacturer. The Plan shall immediately and automatically terminate if the
product has been replaced by Acko under the Plan terms once.

4. Plan Exclusions

Acko shall not be liable to make any payments with respect to repair requests, if directly or indirectly caused due to,
attributable to or arising from any of the following:

a. Normal wear and tear of components not integral to the functioning of the electronic product.
b. Any loss of data stored in the electronic product, or costs related to re-creation of such stored data.
c. Any consumables or accessories used in or with the electronic product, such as any SIM card, memory card, software
(including programs, data and user settings), modem, scanner, printer, adapter or charger, TV remote.
d. Any costs covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, any other applicable warranty, or under any existing plan.
e. Theft, loss, untraceability, accidental damage, or any damage to the electronic product other than due to any inherent
defects.
f. Any Breakdown caused due to abuse, negligence, misuse of the electronic product in contravention of the underlying
manufacturer’s warranty, or where the electronic product has undergone unauthorized repairs.
g. Reception or transmission problems resulting from external causes.
h. Any electronic product where the unique identifier is removed, obliterated or altered from the electronic product.
i. Any Breakdowns caused by computer virus, malware, cyber threats, or realignments to the electronic product.
j. Any defects subject to the manufacturer’s recall.
k. Any defects or problems not covered under the underlying manufacturer’s warranty.
l. Any repair requests initiated after 7 days from the expiry of the Plan Term.
m. Any purchase on Prime Now App.

5. Plan Activation

You do not need to activate the Plan separately. Your Plan is activated with the successful delivery of the electronic product to
you, and your electronic product becomes automatically covered under the Plan as soon as its manufacturer’s warranty expires.

6. Raising a Repair Request

You need to visit acko.com to raise a repair request. The Plan follows a completely online and paperless process. Hence, no
documents are required for raising a repair request. You will just have to answer a few questions on acko.com in order to raise
the repair request.

After you answer a few questions on the website and your repair request is accepted by Acko, you need to enter the address
where the covered electronic product is available for inspection and subsequent repair.

7. Settlement Conditions
The Plan, including the exclusions and all amounts payable shall be subject to the following general conditions.

a. Acko shall not make any payment for the cost of any enhancements, alterations, additions and/or improvements made
during the course of any replacement or repair.
b. Per its sole discretion, Acko may offer alternate modes of settlement, including but not limited to, cashless repair,
reimbursement (whether as cash, bank transfer or Amazon credits), or providing a like-for-like product of comparable value
and specifications as a replacement.
c. Beyond Economic Repairs: Where the cost of repairs of the electronic product is greater than its market value at the time
of raising the repair request, as determined by Acko, or the invoice value of the product, Acko will instead offer a
replacement product of comparable value and specifications, per its sole and absolute discretion. Such replacement
product will be provided only if you agree to surrender the original electronic product to Acko.
d. Acko’s liability is only for the cost of repair of the electronic product and related labour, component and conveyance costs,
which shall at all times, be limited to the Maximum Repair Amount which will be communicated to you by Acko.
e. In no event shall Acko’s overall liability under this Plan per electronic product exceed the invoice value of the product
cumulatively or in the aggregate for all repair requests.
f. In no event shall Acko be held responsible/liable for any loss of data, software, or contents including but not limited to
pictures/images, videos, downloads, music and/or any content stored in the electronic product.
g. Max Liability under this plan is limited to Invoice value of the product

8. General Conditions

The Plan, including the, exclusions and all amounts payable shall be subject to the following general conditions.

a. The Plan is valid only in India.


b. Where a replacement unit is provided by Acko, the original covered electronic product shall become Acko’s property and
Acko shall not be liable to return such electronic product to you. The benefits under the Plan shall cease upon such
replacement
c. The Plan is not valid for refurbished products or second-hand products, or any standalone purchase of this Plan without
the accompanying purchase of the electronic product through Amazon.in.
d. Acko would require inspection of the Amazon invoice for the Product at the time of repair to ascertain the eligibility of the
Product.
e. If any repair request is dishonest or fraudulent in any manner, the Plan will be terminated with no return of fees and
payment of any amounts that may be due and payable under it.
f. In case of total loss/BER where the repair cost exceeds the device value, ACKO will settle the service request according to
settlement terms. The customer shall not be entitled to retain any part of the damaged device and agrees to cooperate
fully with ACKO in the salvage process.
g. In the event of a Malfunction/breakdown, ACKO may decide to undertake the repair process or authorise a repairer on its
behalf. In such cases, the customer shall not have any right to demand ownership of any damaged parts or components
removed from the asset/device during the repair process. All replaced or repaired parts shall become the property of
ACKO.
h. ACKO reserves the right to take possession of the salvage at any reasonable time & location during the settlement of the
service request. The customer shall provide access to the salvage & cooperate with ACKO or its appointed
representatives in the complete process.

9. Additional Information

a. In case the purchased electronic product is replaced pursuant applicable Amazon.in policies, the user shall inform Acko
and share the new unique identifier for updation in their records within 30 days of delivery of the replacement unit. After
confirmation, Acko will transfer the protection under this Plan to such replacement unit.
b. In case of change of the Serial Number or any other unique identifier due to any authorized repair or replacement of the
components of the electronic product, you must notify us of the change within 30 days of such repair or replacement.
c. If the Plan is purchased for someone else (friend, relative etc.) or is transferred to another individual by way of sale or
exchange for personal use, you will be required to update the details of the Plan to Acko for the electronic product for
which the Plan has been purchased, and such protection will continue up to the Plan commencement date. In no event
will a subsequent transfer of this Plan to a commercial entity be covered under the ambit of this Plan.
d. This Plan is a service contract offered by Acko to customers on Amazon.in and it shall not be considered or construed as
an insurance plan or policy by Acko. Acko has availed a Service Contract Liability Insurance Policy (SCLIP) from Acko
General Insurance Limited for this Service Contract.

10. Plan Cancellation


This is a complimentary Plan and, therefore, there is no cancellation or refund available under any circumstances under this Plan.
The Plan will be automatically cancelled should you cancel, return, reject or invalidate in any manner your purchase of electronic
product from sellers on Amazon.in.

No cancellation is allowed if you have lodged a repair request and availed any compensation under the Plan any time during the
Plan Term.

The Plan shall immediately and automatically terminate if the covered Product has been replaced by Acko during the Plan
Term.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution


The Plan shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive
jurisdiction over disputes arising from this Plan.

12. Force Majeure


Any delays in or failure of performance of any obligations by either Acko or you under this Plan shall not constitute default
hereunder if and to the extent caused by a force majeure event, which is defined to be occurrences beyond the control of the
party committing default, including but not limited to acts of the government authorities, acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, riots,
war, rebellion, insurrection, sabotage and non-cooperation of third parties, provided, however, that such defaulting party shall
give prompt notice to the other and shall use reasonable efforts to avoid or remove such cause of non-performance and shall
continue performance hereunder whenever such causes are removed.
