Do not let the wiring come into contact with heat-emitting devices (fuse resistor, radiator plate, ete). 6. When replacing the wiring, make sure that it is notin contact withthe unfinished or rough edge of a par. 7. When replacing the power cord (except for the plug-in type), tug it from various directions to confirm that it does not slip out of place. 8. Spacing lt soldering was done on the AC primary circu, confirm that the interval between the soldered terminals or between the terminal and surrounding metalic parts is at least the minimum required (between the primary circuit and the chassis: at least 6.5 mm; between primary circuit terminals: at least 4.0 mm; betwoon primary circult terminals and secondary circuit terminals: at least 6.5, mm). SAFETY PRECAUTION Safety Precaution Before servicing, unplug the power cord to prevent an electric shock, When replacing parts, use only the manufacturer's recommended components for safety Aer servicing, be sure to restore the lead dress, insulation bariers, insulation papers, shields, etc. 1 2. ‘8. Use this procedure i the buttons, Keys, etc. malfunction, or when you wish to reset the memories and functions, 1. Turn off the POWER button, 2, While pressing the three lower left butions in the RHYTHM GROUP section (MARCH & WALTZ, LATIN and WORLD) at the same time, turn the POWER button on again. Tum off the POWER button once, then tum iton again If this procedure Is not successful, turn off the POWER| button once. Then, while pressing the three lower lett buttons in the RHYTHM GROUP section (MARCH & | WALTZ, LATIN and WORLD) at the same time, turn the POWER button on again, (Note that, in this case, all programmable settings, functions and memories| return to their factory-preset status.) No sound is produced when the keys are pressed. (+The MAIN VOLUME is at the minimum setting. Adjust the volume with the MAIN VOLUME cantrol ‘The volumes for the selected parts are set to the| minimum levels. Use the balance buttons to set the volumes of the relevant parts to appropriate levels. The part is muted ‘The LOCAL CONTROL for a part performed on the| keyboard is sat to OFF. Set the LOCAL CONTROL to ON. Only percussive instrument sounds are produced| when the keyboard is played, win the SOUND GROUP section, the DRUM KITS| button is on. The volume is very low when the Keyboard is played, The volume setting in the SEQUENCER contents i| very low. Follow the INITIAL procedure to reset the| settings, ‘Some sounds cannot be selected. + When the GENERAL MIDI status is set to ON, The sounds which can be selected and operation which} ‘can be executed are limited. Turn the GENERAL MIDI status OFF to return the instrument to its normal operation. “The sound you hear is different from the sound you selected.
