Accessing

Data
on IEEE
DataPort
The Bengaluru Mobility Challenge, 2024
Request and Receive
Access to the Competition
1. Visit the “The Bengaluru Mobility Challenge, 2024” competition
page on IEEE DataPort.
2. Scroll down to the “Apply for Access” form
3. Complete all required fields and click the “Request Access”
button below the form. Note: use the same email address as you
used or will use for your IEEE account
4. Once you have been granted access to the competition, you will
be notified by the competition organizers
1. Login with your IEEE account or create a FREE
account
2. Visit the “The Bengaluru Mobility Challenge,
2024” competition page on IEEE DataPort.

section on the right column

4. Choice 1: Download the files from the webpage
by clicking to expand the folders and clicking the
file names to dowlonad.

Tip: the video files have been zipped in the
”Videos_Zipped” folder for easier downloading
as an alternative to downloading each file in the
Videos folder
5. Choice 2: Access or download the files using
AWS credentials available through the IEEE
DataPort platform (see next page)
Access files using AWS Credentials
1. Login with your IEEE account or create a FREE account
2. Click “My Account” in the upper right
3. On your account page, click the “Get New AWS Access Key” button.
4. Confirm your request by clicking “OK” in the resulting dialog
5. The key will be created and you will be directed to click “return to your user profile”
6. When you return to your user profile, copy your “AWS Access Key ID” and click “Show AWS Secret Access Key” button
to see and copy your secret key.
7. Visit the competition page and click the “Access on AWS” button.
8. On the resulting pop-up, click “Copy All URIs to the Cliboard” and save the S3 URI’s so you can access the files using
the AWS CLI or other software that support AWS access/commands. Please note, while downloading through AWS, you
can skip the zipped files and directly download the from the ‘Videos’ folder alone.
