A style is collection of all formatting information, which you want to save and then apply
on the document.
Writer provides six style categories - Page, Paragraph, Character, Frame, List and
Table.
Predefined Heading Style(s) act as bookmarks in a document. These bookmarks allow
faster browsing in a document.
Style tool can be accessed from Menu Bar, Drop down List and Side Bar.
Style tool can also be accessed by using keyboard shortcut- F11 function key.
Fill Format is used to style scattered Pages, Frames, Table, Lists, Paragraphs or
Characters in a document.
To quit Fill Format option, click on Fill Format button again or press the Esc key
Writer allows creating custom style and saving them for future use.
These new styles can be created using selection method or Drag and Drop method.
Drag and Drop method cannot be used to create a page style.
A user defined style once created, can be updated at any point of time. Steps used for
updating a style are same as creation of styles.
A document can be styled using another document or a template.

2. Write advantages of using Style over manual formatting, for designing a document.
Ans:- Creating a big document with consistent format becomes difficult and time consuming
when manual formatting is used. By using styles we can overcome this problem. We can make
documents with consistent format and in less time by using styles.
7. Give two examples, where instead of Styles, using manual formatting will be beneficial.
Ans:-
Quick Edits: For fast adjustments to small sections.
Unique Formatting: When creating one-time documents with specific designs.
8. Give one situation, in which you will prefer to use Fill Format for styling your document.
Ans :- One situation where you might prefer to use Fill Format is when you want to quickly
apply the same formatting to multiple different elements throughout your document. For
example, if you have several headings scattered across various sections of your document and
you want them all to have the same font, size, and color, you can use Fill Format to easily copy
the formatting from one heading and apply it to the others without having to manually adjust
each one individually.
9. Write steps to load style(s) from a template.
Ans:-
Step 1 : Open your document in LibreOffice Writer.
Step 2 : Go to Format > Styles and Formatting or press F11. The Style Dialog box will
appear.
Step 3 : Click the arrow icon in the top-left corner to open the styles menu.
Step 4 : Select "Load Styles From Template."Navigate to your template file and open it.
Step 5 : Choose the styles you want to import and click "OK. "The imported styles will
be available in your document for application
