FAQ’s regarding OSHA changes

Premium +
OSHA is phasing out the use of ladder cages as fall protection
over the next 20 years as part of recent changes to 29 CFR 1910,
Subpart D. The following list provides details on a few of the
changes that are most applicable to fixed ladders:

Fixed ladders that extend more than 24 ft. above a lower provides stronger

landing platforms at maximum intervals of 50 ft.
A cage can be used in combination with a personal fall arrest
system provided the cage does not interfere with the operation

2. Premium ladder is comparable to CST legacy ladder. To expand existing Aquastore®, Harvestore® and TecStore™ ladders, the entire
ladder section between existing step off platforms must be replaced
3. Only valid for ladders installed prior to 11/19/2018
4. For Harvestore agricultural applications not requiring OSHA compliance (as defined by OSHA), ladder and cage options are available
