What is an Internet?
An Internet is a global connection of computer and computer
networks, which exchange information. A computer network is a group of
computer that has been connected together so, they can communicate with
each other. They can send message and can share information in the form
of computer files.
The internet is the biggest computer system in the world. It is a
collection of computer networks, which connects millions of computer
around the world including the one on your desktop. It is also a vast source
of information that is constantly changing and expanding. Since it’s a
creation in 1960, the internet has grown expanding and it is used by
millions of people now such as in commercial and educational institutions
to individual's consumers.
Networking:
The inter connection of computers, between two or more than two
computers by communication media is called networking. Networking can
be done with different medial like V-SAT, Satellite, Microwave, Radio
wave, Optical Fiber Cable (FOC) etc.
Using networking system, we can share information, Greeting, Data,
Software and Hardware etc. from one remote computer to our computer.
There are 3 types of network. They are as following:
1. LAN
LAN Stands for Local Area Network. It is such types of networking system
which is done within a same city, within a same building. LAN is done with
in a support of HUB, Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) etc. The LAN can be
suitable within a 10 km radius distance.

2. MAN:
MAN stands for Metropolitan Area Network. It is such types of networking
system which is done in a same city or country. For example Cable TV.
(Butwal to KTM, Butwal to Bhairahawa.)
3. WAN
WAN stand for World Area Network, it is such types of networking g
system which is done within a same city, country and continent or around
the world. For example:
Butwal to America, Palpa to Hong Kong and other places
E-mail
Introduction
E-mail stands for electronic mail system. E-mail is a system for sending
message from one computer to another computer worldwide with the help
of Internet facility. E-mail and Internet are the example of WAN. E-mail
address is required to send and receive message.
In every computer has E-mail and internet facilities should have TCP
(Transmission Control Protocol)/IP (Internet Protocol). The protocol helps
us to transfer our computer's data and information to another computer.
Using E-mail facilities, you can send message to any person to any
country without any difficult because E-mail has the flexible system.
Web Server:
It is the World Wide Web from where you can access web sites. For
example www.yahoo.com is a web server.
WWW
It stands for World Wide Web. It is the networks of networks billions of
computers are inter connected and share information’s such as news,
views, sound, pictures, multimedia, message etc.
Website:
Website may be any artist, organization, business, government, musician,
university, military, science technology, country, books, person, poem, and
scientists etc. Web site is the collection of web pages which are
hyperlinked.

1. Back:
This icon is use to move backward of your page (step 1)
2. Forward:
This icon is use to move forward of your page (step 1)
3. Stop:
This icon is use to make unable to display the specified web address
4. Refresh:
This icon is use to make reload the active webpage again.
5. Home:
This icon helps us to display the first page of your default setting website.
