the respective faculty and the failure to comply with the norms and regulations may result in the refusal of appearing examinations. Students with a Lack of Attendance/Complaints of
Misconduct/Suspension/detained on Medical Grounds/Malpractice/Pending criminal cases cannot claim to sit for examinations even if the hall ticket has been issued in their name and

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS APPEARING FOR THE UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS (ONLINE EDUCATION)
1. Timings for Examinations: FORENOON SESSION: 10.00 AM - 12.30PM; AFTERNOON SESSION: 02.00 PM - 04.30 PM
2. HALL TICKET and IDENTITY CARD are mandatory for appearing the examination and are to be shown to the Proctors.
3. You should be ready for the examinations at least half an hour before the commencement of examinations. Extra time will not be given to the
students who logged late for the examination session. You will not be allowed to login after 30 minutes from the start of the examination. Do not
write your register number / name inside the answer sheet.
4. Select a right ambience for writing the examinations (i.e) is free from noise, disturbance from family members, television/radio, should have
sufficient ventilation and lighting etc.
5. You should take the online examination in a closed room only.Public places like park, garden, driving/inside the vehicle etc., are strictly
prohibited. Before the commencement of the examinations, complete your breakfast / lunch.Movement from your place is not permitted before
the completion of the examination. You can have a water bottle.
6. Keep all your study materials like the book, notes, electronic gadgets and programmable calculators, etc., away. You need to show the
surroundings to proctor. If anything is found near to you, you will be booked under malpractice.
7. If you want to draw/write the answers in a sheet or to do any rough work and scan & upload, you should do it carefully. Keep required A4 white
sheets, pen, pencil, eraser, scale, etc., and get familiarized with scanning and uploading procedures.
8. Charge the device fully ensuring battery power, running at least for THREE hours or otherwise a power back up should be made available.
9. Following are the pre-requisites for online examinations:
i. Setup Required: Combination of Laptop/Desktop (with working microphone and webcam)+ Mobile with working microphone and camera
ii. Laptop/Desktop [For Question paper viewing/Open Test]
- Processor: i3 or Above (Higheris better)
- RAM: 4GB (Minimum), Higher is better
- OS:Windows:7+ supported, however 10 or higher [Recommended] /MAC OS:v11+ / LinuxOS: Ubuntu 20.04+
- Working microphone and webcam
- Uninterrupted power supply
iii. Mobile Device[For Scan and Upload]
- Android - Browser: Chrome, iPhone - Browser: Safari (version 13.6 or higher)
iv. Internet connectivity with continuous internet speed of 100 kbps or above
10. The device using for the examinations must have a front-end camera with good quality. The camera should be enabled for the entire duration of
the examination.
11. The camera and microphone must be kept ON throughout the examination. Ear phone / pods should not be used. If you use the same, you will
be terminated from the examinations & booked under malpractice.
12. You will also be notified about your activity if you are moving outside the window / some noise is heard around you / somebody is moving around
you / if you are referring any book / if you are turning your head etc.
13. Do not indulge in any kind of malpractice. Your end semester examinations are proctored by faculty members.
14. University has the rights to cancel the examinations even after the results are announced if it is proved that you have indulged in any kind of
malpractice.
15. Check whether you have received the correct question paper and check course code and title. Read the special instructions given in the
question paper and follow the same.
16. Do not exit during the examination and sit for the whole duration. If you require any assistance, inform the proctor. You can check the answers
before the final submission. Once it is submitted, it is not permitted to re-login and correct your answers.
17. All the answer scripts should be uploaded through the codeTandra portal only. Other mode of submission will not be accepted/considered for
evaluation.
18. Severe penalties will be imposed for misconduct, cheating, possession of unauthorized materials, improper use of materials, unauthorized
removal of materials from the examination hall, or ignoring the instructions given by proctor members. STUDENTS ARE REMINDED THAT
CHEATING IS REGARDED AS AN ACT OF GRAVE MISCONDUCT FOR WHICH THERE ARE HEAVY PENALTIES APPLIED, INCLUDING A
FAIL IN THE SUBJECT / CANCELLATION OF ALL SUBJECTS WRITTEN IN THE SEMESTER / DEBARRING FROM THE EXAMINATION,
AND POSSIBLE EXPULSION FROM THE UNIVERSITY.
