Descriptions:
Designed by the Father of Modern Firearm, John Moses Browning, the Win 94 is a lever action rifle with a
capacity of 8 rounds. Though it can be chambered in similar sized rifle rounds, it is most often found in 30-30
Winchester and has long been considered to be the most popular deer-rifle in America. The 30-30 round itself
is slower moving bullet with decent knockdown power. Ammo can be loaded into the tubular magazine via the
loading gate on the right side of the receiver, making for a decent reload, or a single shot can be loaded
directly into the chamber when the lever is down and the action is open.
The 270 is a popular hunting caliber designed for taking down small to medium sized game from a bolt action
rifle. The smaller diameter and higher velocity of the round make it excellent for long distance shots (in fair
weather) and give it decent piercing abilities. The 270 has a capacity of 6 rounds and is reloaded via a box
magazine
The design and small size of this firearm make it popular choice as a conceal carry or boot pistol. The 380 Auto
reloads via an eight-capacity magazine that drops from the handle. Though it may not have the power of a
.357 magnum of .45LC, it packs a punch in close combat situations and your opponents may quickly find they
have brought a knife to a gunfight.
Judge Revolver
The Judge is particular in that it is designed to fire two completely different rounds, that happen to be the
same diameter, the 45 Long Colt and the 410-shotgun shell. This is accomplished through the elongated
cylinder that can accommodate both rounds. The Judge is a five shot, double action revolver and is reloaded
one round at a time.
The 30-06 (pronounced thirty ought six) has the same sized projectile as the .308 or 30-30 but is a larger, more
powerful round and is often said to be able to take down any (prewar) game in North America. Its versatility,
accuracy, and power have made it popular for both civilian and military use since the early 20th century. The
30-06 hunting rifle can hold up to 5 bullets that are stored and reloaded in a box magazine.
410 Repeater
The 410 Repeater, often referred to as a snake-gun, is a lever action 410 shotgun cutdown to pistol length for
easy storage and maneuverability. Its short barrel and small round size make it optimum for dealing damage
to hostiles within a few feet without worrying about the recoil a larger shotgun, such as a 12 gauge, would
give the user. It is reloaded through a loading gate in the receiver into a fixed tube magazine and can hold 6
rounds.
Browning Automatic Rifle
Another invention of John Moses Browning, the Browning Automatic Rifle, or BAR for short, is a light machine
gun chambered in the reliable 30-06 and saw action with American troops in both the First and Second World
Wars. Though the 30-06 is typically an accurate round, the high fire rate of the BAR reduces accuracy in
exchange for raining hot lead. The box magazine of the BAR has a 20-round capacity and cab reloaded quickly.
Though they are few and far between in the wasteland, those that exist make formidable weapons.
Modern Repeater
In the early 21st century, many firearm producers began manufacturing an up-to-date lever action for the
“modern” shooter. Lever actions could now be reloaded quicker using a box magazine and use more accurate
and powerful hunting rounds like the .308, as well a increased rate of fire from a shorter lever stroke.
Suppressors and silencers became a popular accessory to these modern repeaters because it’s just not
modern hunting if you have to hear the report of your own rifle.
Designed primarily for hunting large game and fending off grizzly bear, the 500 Magnum still finds use in post-
war America when dealing with mutated megafauna. This firearm is a five-shot double action revolver that’s
recoil will put users with low strength stats on their butts but will destroy the yau-guai they were shooting at,
and the one behind it.
M16
Much can be said about the M16 from its performance issues under stress, earning it the nickname the Jam-o-
matic, to the high mod-ability of the Armalite platform dubbing it Legos for men. But one thing can be said for
sure of the M16, its better than nothing. In all reality, it and other AR platform firearms like it are extremely
popular for range shooting and hunting, partially thanks to the cheap nature of the .223 and 5.56 ammo they
run and how little recoil they produce. The M16 has a box magazine that holds a total of 30 rounds and can be
modded into nearly anything it needs to be.
Colt Peacemaker
They say that God made all men, but Sam Colt made them equal, such is the same in the wastes where every
raider prays their next victims isn’t packing a Peacemaker. Originally chambered in the powerful .45 Long Colt,
the Colt Peacemaker is a six-shot, single action revolver that loads one round at a time through the loading
gate located on the frame.
Desert Eagle
The Desert Eagle is a semi-automatic pistol designed for the times when you really, REALLY want something
dead. Though it can be chambered in many different large pistol rounds, in the New West it is mostly found
chambered in 44 magnum and has a capacity of eight rounds.
Pump .22
The pump .22 rifle has been a means of varmint control since the late 19th century and many can be found in
the derelict farmhouses across the wasteland. Though the 22lr bullet may be small, the increased fire rate
from the smooth action of the pump .22 can make it a serious contender and real threat to geckos, ghouls,
raiders. To add to that, the pump 22 has a tube magazine capacity of a whopping 20 rounds
.22 Revolver
Almost an exact copy of the Colt Peacemaker, the .22 revolver is a much more affordable and concealable
option for the average wastelander. This single action revolver holds 6 rounds at a time and also must be
reloaded using the loading gate on the back of the frame one bullet at a time. Their small size, concealability,
and simplicity make them very popular with smaller framed individuals, children, and gamblers, however they
are not powerful and are only accurate at a very close range.
