RA 7164 Phil Nsg Act of 1991 (before/old May responsibility to practice ng profession

RA 9173 (Phil Nsg Act of 2002) - nagsasabi Conditional Case - kapag 1 Criteria lang
hanggang saan ang scope in nsg practice and nameet (>75% Gen Ave pero may <60% sa
standards naman ay ang proper way of doing any part of the exam. Kaya:
nsg procedures. Removal Exam- itatake lang ang subj na
saan sya nakakuha ng <60%. Di ito
Pwede lang makakuha ng license kapag 21 kailangang immediately itatake (w/in 2yrs)
years old; Sa CI naman, need ng 3yrs of To Pass sa Removal Exam - dapat 75.0%
experience sa specialty area kung saan siya ang makuha sa subj na saan nafail
assign.

Walang age requirement pag mag get ng Board of Nursing (BON)


license basta pasado, makukuha na kahit ▪︎7 persons ( 1 chairperson, and 6 members)
anong age. ▪︎Each term consist of 3 yrs
▪︎May 2 terms lang sila kaya 6 yrs ang max
(board exam kase is 2 times per year)
▪︎2 terms × 3 yrs = 6 years. Kaya, 6 yrs ang Kapag accused lang at di na proved na guilty
max na magse-serve ang BON pasok pa din under the law

QUALIFICATIONS OF PR-BON APPOINTMENT


1. RN dapat at may Master's Degree 1. Regular
Sa chairperson, dapat master's in Nsg Phases:
Sa members naman, kahit anong masteral A. Nomination - PNA, magsusubmit sila
pwede ng 3 names/candidates per vacancy

2. Dapat natural-born Filipino B. Recommendation - PRC,


Jus Sanguinis - Ano citizenship ng parents, magrerecomend ng 2 candidates per
yun din ang citizenship ng anak. (Parental vacancy kase tinanggal ang isang
lineage) candidate per vacancy dito (pwedeng
Jus Sanguinis din ang sinusunod sa magchange ang ranking ng candidates
Philippines dito.)

3. Member of the APO (Accredited C. Appointment - President/ Chief


Professional Org) Executive, 1 candidate per vacancy
PNA (Phil Nurses Association) naman dito

Mga PROHIBITIONS

moral turpitude license

No criminal records ▪︎Bawal gumamit ng expired, revoked and or
suspended license.
