PRINT to POST
Offers end to end Print to Post solution to corporate customers
Pre-printing: Processing data to prepare bills/reports in the format
required by customers.
Printing: Process of printing of bills/reports, printing mail inserts,
printing of barcodes on the bill or envelope.
Pre-mailing activities: Folding of documents, insertion of
documents in envelopes, sealing of envelopes, franking, sorting of
envelopes according to PIN Code, bundling,
bagging/containerization.
These pre-mailing activities are mechanised to the extent possible.

In case of Illiterate person, his thumb impression should be attested by 2

Rule 133 --- Duties of Village Postman
HEAD POSTMAN
In the large office one or more Head Postmen are working.
Their responsibilities include disbursing Telegraphic Money Orders
(TMOs), facilitating the transfer of funds to and from the treasury,
sub-treasury, bank, or other town sub-offices (SOs).
They may also be tasked with delivering undelivered articles that
have been returned by other postmen due to being unclaimed or
refused.
Head Postmen fill in for postmen who may be temporarily absent
from duty.
A Head Postman may be ordered by the postmaster to accompany
the postman to whom the MOs insured articles and VP articles of
considerable aggregate value have been made over for payment or
AGGREGATE VALUE of MO, VP, COD, Insured, Customs, Banking & IPPB [at one time]
