Overview
The Hospital Management System (HMS) is a comprehensive system that manages patient
appointments, registrations, services, and billing. It allows patients to register for various
services, including admission, lab, radiology, prescription drugs, and surgical procedures, and
bills for each service.

2.1user module(patient):
A helpful application that makes managing medical interactions, personal health information,
appointments, prescriptions, doctor lists, blood bank status, surgical history, and hospital
admission history easier for patients is the Patient User Module.

2.2Doctor module:
Physicians and other medical professionals can effectively manage patient care with the help
of the Healthcare Provider Module. This module helps with patient account creation, record
updating, appointment scheduling, medication management, and the creation of thorough
operation reports.

2.3Pharmacist Module
The Pharmacist Module is a tool for pharmacists to manage medication inventory, ensure
accurate prescription dispensing, and maintain stock, ensuring patient safety and effective
treatment, while monitoring potential drug interactions.

2.4 Laboratories module:


The Laboratories Module is a system that streamlines laboratory data management, enabling
staff to view prescription lists, upload reports, preview files, and manage personal profiles,
thereby improving healthcare delivery.
2.5Accountant module:
The Accountant Module is a healthcare accounting tool that enables healthcare staff to
manage financial transactions, including invoice creation, order processing, payment history
viewing, and personal information updates.

4. User Account Role Rights


4.1 Role of the Administrator User
Create and Manage Departments: The hospital's administrator has the ability to form and
oversee a number of departments.
Payment History: The administrator can see and follow every payment.
Operation Report: The administrator examines and keeps track of surgical operation
reports.
Payroll for Staff: The administrator creates and oversees the payroll for hospital employees.
Add Notices :Admins have the ability to add notices to their dashboards that are accessible to
all users.
4.2 Roles of Doctors:
View Patient Appointments: Physicians have access to their own appointment schedules.
Make Appointments: Doctors are able to schedule visits with their patients.
Add Prescription for Patients: Doctors who are able to write prescriptions for their patients.
Doctors have the authority to assign hospital beds to their patients.
Add Medical Report for Patients: Medical reports may be entered into patient charts by
physicians.
View Own Payroll: Physicians have the ability to see their own payroll data.
Internal Messaging: Internal messaging is one way that doctors can interact with their
patients.

4.3 Roles of patients


View and Create Appointments: Patients are able to view their current appointments as
well as make new ones.
View Own Prescription: Patients have access to the specifics of their prescriptions.
Patients have the ability to view the profiles of the doctors they see.
View Blood Bank Management: Information about the blood bank is visible to patients.
View Admission History: The history of their own admissions is available to patients.
View Operation History: Patients are able to view specifics about previous surgeries.

4.4 Roles of Laboratory Technicians

4.5 Pharmacist User Role

4.6 Accountant User Role

The admin is able to do a lot of things. For you to access the admin dashboard your login
must have the full rights of an admin.

 Doctor: Here you can add/edit/delete Doctors
 Patient: Here you can add/edit/delete Patients
 Nurse: Here you can add/edit/delete Nurse
 Pharmacist: Here you can add/edit/delete Pharmacists
 Laboratory Technician: Here you can add/edit/delete Laboratory Technicians
 Accountant: Here you can add/edit/delete Accountants
 Receptionist: Here you can add/edit/delete Receptionists
 Monitor Hospital: Here you can monitor the full activities of the hospital
 Payment History: Here you will see all payments made in the hospital
 Bed Allotment: Here you will see all allotted Bed space in the hospital
 Blood Bank: Here you will see all records of the hospital blood bank
 Blood Donor: Here you will see records of Blood Donors
 Medicine: Here you will see the records of all the medicines in the Hospital
 Operation Report: Here you can see Operation/Birth/Death Report,
 Payroll: Here you can generate Monthly payroll of the staff of the hospital
 Noticeboard: Here you can post notice for staff of the hospital
 Settings: this is a section reserved only for Webmaster
 Frontend: this is a section reserved only for Webmaster
 Contact Emails:
 Account: This is where admin can change his/her name and password.

 Dashboard: Here you will see a summary of your activities

Requested Appointments: Requested appointments

 Prescription: This is where you add prescriptions for patient


 Patient: Here you can add/edit/delete Patients
 Blood Bank: Here you can see Blood Donor List and Blood Bank Status
 Report: Here you can see Operation/Birth/Death Report, you can also

export reports and add reports.

 Payroll: Here you can see your payroll


 Message: Here you can send message to any user on the system
 Profile: Here you can edit your profile and change your password

 Pathology Report: Here you can upload the pathology report of patients for the
Doctors review etc.
 Payroll: Here you can see your payroll
 Profile: Here you can edit your profile and change your password

9. Pharmacist Login

 Dashboard: Here you will see a summary of your activities


 Medicine Category: Here you can add the categories of the medicines in stock in the
hospital
 Medicine:
Manage Medicine: Here you can add medicines
Medicine Sales: Here you can sale medicine out, you can also print out receipts via
thermal printer
 Payroll: Here you can see your payroll
 Profile: Here you can edit your profile and change your password

10. Accountant Login


 Dashboard: Here you will see a summary of your activities
 Invoice:
Add Invoice: Here you can add invoice, Paid or unpaid invoice
Manage Invoice: Here you can View/Edit/Delete and invoice

 Payroll: Here you can see your payroll


 Profile: Here you can edit your profile and change your password
