Service terms and conditions


1. Xiaomi service(Service center) reserves the right to charge/refused to provide to any Xiaomi products/accessories("Products") if
a. Unauthorized repairs or modifications have been carried out on the "product".
b. Labels include warranty label, IMEI/ESN/MEID label and other label(s) that "product" is damaged, defaced, altered, or removed.
c. IMEI/SN number stored inside the "product" does not match with the one printed on the label.
d. The "product" is damaged due to accident, abuse or misuse, neglect, water, fire or any other causes other than manufacture defect or normal
wear and tear.
e. Valid proof of purchase of the "product" is not furnished.
2. This Service order("SO") must be produced upon collection of the "product" upon presentation of this "SO", "Service center" will release the
"Product" to the holder of this "SO" and shall have no responsibility to ascertain the ownership of Product.
3. Part(s) or component(s) being replaced shall become property of the "Service center"/"Xiaomi" and will not be returned to customer.
4. Before submitting any unit for service, customer should backup data and remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information from the
Product. Xiaomi and Service Center are not responsible for the damage to, loss, or disclose of any programs, data, or removable storage media
where you do not backup your data.
5. Customer should provide the valid address and contact information to "service center". And Xiaomi retains the right and may use the
information on this SO to collect data from and/or conduct promotion activities to the customer include but not limited to customer satisfaction
surveys, sales promotion and introduction of new services by letter, phone, e-mail and/or any other available communication medias/tools. Such
information on this job sheet may also be disclosed to other companies in the "Xiaomi" group and its contracts/agents to conduct the same
activities. Other than these parties, "Xiaomi" ensure such information on this "SO" will not be disclosed to any other third parties, company
and/or corporation.
6. The customer affirms and agrees that Xiaomi may contact the customer on his/her mobile number by sms/call to enquire/update about the
status of the repair services and/or to take permission for revised cost estimate (if any) regardless of "Do Not Call" status of customer's mobile
number.
7. "Xiaomi" and "Service center" shall take no responsibility to any loss or damages, directly or indirectly, to the customer or any person, frim,
company and corporation from any delay in repair and maintenance or from any failure of the repaired "product" whether such delay or failure
arise from negligence, omission, default and/or any other act of the employee of the "service center" from any other cause whatsoever.
8. Service warranty is subject to the "Limited Warranty Statement" displayed in the Xiaomi's official website. More information, please log in

9. In the event of any dispute arising out of these terms&conditions, the same shall be submitted to the single arbitrator, to be appointed by
Xiaomi and the award/decision of such arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the parties. The venue for such arbitration proceeding shall be
in Bangalore.
10.Customer hereby agrees that repaired handset shall be collected within 30 days of repair intimation else Xiaomi or ASC may take necessary
disposal process.
