PRODUCT DESCREPTION
The SC-1000-RDM access control panel is a product in the SC-1000 integrated
access system. It has increased number of inputs and outputs for universal use and it
can replace moduls SC-1000-02/06/07. It provides RS-232 connection with and
external converter through the reader ports. Typical application as part of an acces
control system is controlling one bidirectional or two oneway entry points, but inputs
can also be equipped with security sensors with resistive termination. There are two
types of firmware: can be used as an SC-1000-02 module on older systems, or can
be integrated as an RDM module into the system from software version Incedo Pro
2.1.
This module is not able to make access decision and doesn’t storage datas. The input
signals are transmitted via CAN-bus in real time to the SC-1000 main controller,
which makes the access decision and releases the programmed controls.
The inputs, outputs, function of reader ports and the parameters of hardwares are not
specified in advance, those are flexibly programmable during the installation
according to the software configuration of logical gateways. The physical data points
of the modules on the same data lines are arbitrarily usable and those can be freely
combined in the main control panel logical units (e.g. gateways, alarm partitions,
controls, etc.)
