1. Creating Your Own AI Custom Character Using


ChatGPT
Obtain the jailbreak prompt from ChatGPT Jailbreak.

Now you can use it to create your own character: Create AI Character Prompt
(Replace the mad scientist prompt with your character description).

Ensure that the format of your generated personal character prompt is similar to that
of the Example Moondrop Character.

Go to AI Character Editor to generate the AI character card for your character.

2. Selecting from Previously Created Characters Using


CharacterHub
Visit CharacterHub and filter and search for your favorite characters, then download
the corresponding .png image of that character.

Download the SillyTavern zip file.

If you want to use the OpenAI API for roleplay, go here and log in if required.
Generate your own API key and copy it (Do not share it with anyone). You can
generate $5 worth of TOKENs for free, but later you will need to pay. This API is the
best and can generate responses that are faster and more vivid than any other
online alternative.

If you have depleted your OpenAI credits or don't want to pay, poe.com has got you
covered. Visit Poe and sign up for a free account. Press F12 or inspect the
homepage, go to the Application tab, and then in the cookies section, select the
value of the p-b cookie. It will act as a permanent API from Poe and will generate
unlimited tokens (though it might be a little slower).

Now, set up and configure your API and the required bot (Claude-instant with Poe is
the best free alternative, but they are now imposing restrictions on it, so go with
CHATGPT with Poe).

Import the required character(s) and enjoy roleplaying!

You can experiment with different features and jailbreak prompts that suit your
needs. There are lots of features in SillyTavern that will take time to explain, so you
can either search on YouTube or explore them yourself.
