ASSUMPTIONS/COURSE RULES:
1. Student is a CFS accelerated or inhouse dual enrolled 141 Instrument and Commercial Course. This calendare DOES NOT apply to Liberty University Students
2. This flow requires students to be enrolled in Sporty's Instrument and Commercial Course.
3. The student is required to complete the Sporty's Instrument video course prior to starting and to review each lesson topic prior to the Ground Lesson or Flight Lesson
4. The student is required to complete the Sporty's Commercial video course prior to Stage VI.
Additionally, they are required to review appropriate video lesson and maneuver video prior to each applicable Ground or Flight Lesson
5. Students are to share their video course progress with their CFI on the Sporty's website. Additionally, CFIs are required to monitor students progress
6. Students are never allowed to do flight lessons or ground lessons in a follow on stage until the previous stage is complete. The only exception is Jeppesen syllabus gives authorization to complete FL9 in Stage I or II.
7. CFIs/Students are authorized to do lessons out of order within the stage as noted in this calendar flow.
Any out of order Lessons not authorized in this calendar have to have written approval from a Chief or Assistant Chief Flight Instructor
8. Ground Lessons and Flight Lessons utilizing the AATD are approved to be done in any order (within the stage). This should be utilized when flights cancel for weather, mx, or other reasons.
9. * If FL33 and 34 executed in the summer and unable to get night landings before tower closes, then these lessons should either be flown between 12am - 4am at KLAS, or flown in combination with FL35 to KDVT, and a local night landings lesson flown in
the pattern at KDVT to get 10 tower landings.
10. Optional: Student Team X/C - 2 students will be paired together. One student will be the pilot flying, while the other student is safety pilot. The pilot flying will log all flight time as PIC.
The safety pilot will log the time the pilot flying is simulated IFR as PIC.
