I. Configure the stack member ID, stack priority, and stack domain ID on each stack member

1) Setting Stack Parameters


✓ Enter the system view, where you can configure the device
system-view
✓ Enter the stack management view
stack

stack member member-id renumber new-member-id


stack member { member-id | all } domain domain-id
stack member { member-id | all } priority priority-value
stack member member-id description description-value

2) Configuring Stack-Ports
✓ Enter the system view, where you can configure the device
system-view
✓ Create a Stack-Port
interface stack-port port-id
• In the Stack-Port view Add member ports to the Stack-Port
port member-group interface { interface-type interface-number1 [ to
interface-type interface-number2 ]

✓ Exit the Stack-Port view


Quit

3) Checking Whether a Stack Is Set Up Successfully


After Connecting Stack Cables and Powering On All Member Devices

✓ Check whether the stack is set up successfully

✓ Check whether the stack link topology is consistent with the hardware connections and
whether the link status is normal
