Dimensions of God's Glory - Part 2
Dimensions of God's Glory - Part 2
Hebrews 2:10 In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything
exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.
Last time we learnt that the glory of God must man’s ultimate goal to attain and live by. We were all
created for and to live in His glory. God made us for Himself. When we are out of harmony with what God
had in His mind when He made us, we will live unprofitable, unfulfilling and self-destructing lives.
His glory does not depend on our existence or the existence of any created thing. "The difference between the
true God and the gods of the nations is that the true God carries and the other gods must be carried. God
serves, they must be served. God glorifies His might by showing mercy. They glorify theirs by gathering
slaves for themselves." I define GLORY as God’s Love and Omnipotence Revealed to You
Faith Anointing
Glory
Kabod Glory
Glory is “Kabod” in Hebrew which means weight or riches; as was used in describing rich and famous men
with great reputations. “Kabod” means honour, strength, power, surrounding, majesty, beauty,
recognition, holiness, greatness, magnificence. “Doxa” is the Greek translation, which means fame,
reputation, abundance, riches, dignity, shining, and honour. It is the intrinsic essence of who God is. All the
perfection of God is in His glory. It is who He is. But the Shekinah Glory…
Shekinah Glory
In Hebrew, it means “One who dwells”. God dwells in the Shekinah glory. It is the manifested presence of
Jehovah Jireh. Why manifest His presence? Because though God is everywhere, He does not manifest
everywhere. God is in the bar but you do not see Him healing people, unless someone from King Jesus
Camp is there. He manifests His presence in places where:
I am everything you will ever need to have and know. Everything is mine. I am the embodiment of life,
needs and knowledge. I am the Creator of all things, and all things are mine. Nothing exists outside of me.
He is not manifesting in the church now because there is no revelation in the church. Why? Because
apostolic and prophetic graces are absent and they are the ones that bring revelation. Don’t follow signs
and wonders; they will follow you when you reveal Jesus, the King of the Glory! God is the glory. Those
signs and wonders are manifestations of Him.
But know this, if you want to walk in the supernatural, if you want to walk with signs, wonders and
miracles following you, you have to separate yourself from your reasoning. In the glory, miracles just
happen “all of a sudden.” He does it all on His own. He has no need for your faith and anointing or the
laying on of hands. He just does it Himself. It operates in the sovereignty and initiative of God.
You cannot move into the dimension of glory unless you have first learned to live by faith. Faith is the
entry level requirement for those who desire to see God’s glory. Have you ever had it happen to you where
you are sure and have the faith that God will do a miracle that you are praying for over someone, yet the
person was not healed? What happened? The anointing to deal with the situation was higher than your
faith. Rom 12:3 I realize how kind God has been to me, and so I tell each of you not to think you are better than you
really are. Use good sense and measure yourself by the amount of faith that God has given you. CEV
God gave a measure of faith to each of us. But as we operate faithfully in that faith, He is then ready to
usher us into a higher level of the anointing. Your faith will always usher you into your next level of the
anointing.
The anointing works by levels. Faith operates in dimensions. Your faith is high but there is nothing beyond
the gift that you have been given. When your level of anointing has reached its maximum potential that is
when you need the glory. What takes ten years to take place under the anointing, takes one under the
glory. Under the glory, there is acceleration. Glory operates in grace space! Faith comes by the Word, glory
comes by Beholding! We need a combination of both. We step into faith through the practice of what we
know; but we enter into His glory through prayer and worship. We should not work for glory, we should
live in it!
2 Corinthians 3:18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his
likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
In the Greek, it translates from one grade/dimension of glory to another dimension of glory. In the glory, it jumps
several levels. Under the anointing you get tired, you have to work for years for 2,000 members in your
church; but under the glory you are like the co-pilot and you sit in your service without having to touch a
single person and the Shekinah glory appears and heals. Faith works with us, but glory works for us. Faith,
Anointing and Glory!!! First it is Panorama, then Power and finally Presence. You see it, then you
experience it, and then you live in it!
Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by
faith.” -
How do You Know You are Ready to Enter the Dimension of Glory?

When your faith is fully developed
2Tim 1:12 And for which I undergo these things: but I have no feeling of shame. For I have knowledge of him in
whom I have faith, and I am certain that he is able to keep that which I have given into his care till that day. BBE
Faith is the training ground for doing the works of God. When people are grounded in their faith, they will
know in whom they have believed. It is only when you know that you can step out. “Faith is taking the first
step even when you can't see the whole staircase.” Martin Luther King Jr
There’s an old story about a traveller who hiked for many miles across the Desert Mountains. His water
supply was gone, and he knew that if he didn’t find water soon, he would surely die. In the distance, he
noticed an abandoned cabin and hoped to find some water there. Once he made it to the cabin, he
discovered an old well. Then he noticed a tin can tied to the pump, with a note inside:
"This pump is all right as of June 1932. I put a new leather covered washer into it and it ought to last five
years. But the washer dries out and the pump has got to be primed with water. Under the white rock I
buried a bottle of water, out of the sun. There's enough water in it to prime the pump, but not if you drink
some first. Pour about one-quarter and let her soak to wet the leather washers. Then pour in the rest into
the pump and pump like crazy.
You'll get water. The well has never run dry. Have faith. When you have had enough to drink and some to
take away with, fill the bottle and put it back like you found it for the next person. Don't go drinking the
water first. Prime the pump with it and you'll get all you can hold." You see, the water poured into the
pump has the effect of removing the air which blocks the flow of water.
He could choose to drink the water in the bottle and get immediate satisfaction, but it might not be enough
and he still might die. After thinking about it the man decided to risk it. He poured some to wet the
washers and the entire bottle into the pump and began to work the handle, and at first nothing happened.
He got a little scared but he kept going and soon water started coming out. So much water came out he
drank all he wanted, took a bath, and filled all the containers he could find. Because he was willing to give
up momentary satisfaction, he got all the water he needed. The man refilled the bottle and added to the
note: “Please prime the pump, believe me it works”!
When you tithe, you are priming the pump. When you pray, you are priming the pump. When you
sacrifice your precious time for God, you are priming the pump.
We face the same choice every day. We either hold on to what we have in case we need it… or give it all
up to God so that He can come through on His promises. Drink all the water we see or pour it in and
trust? What would you like to have: Temporary satisfaction or long-term provision? Here and now or
now and later? The choice is ours.
I understand that the African impala can jump to a height of over 3 metres and cover a distance of greater
than 10 metres. Yet these magnificent creatures can be kept in an enclosure in any zoo with a 1 metre wall.
The animals will not jump if they cannot see where their feet will fall. Faith is the ability to trust what we
cannot see, and with faith we are freed from the flimsy enclosures of life that only fear allows to entrap us.
God does not expect us to submit our faith to Him without reason, but the very limits of our reason make
faith a necessity. Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which
is humanly possible. Faith begins where man's power ends.
When we put our faith to work, when we identify opportunities to share Christ and to bring glory to His
name, only then can we see the anointing at work. The first miracle Peter and John did was to heal one
person in Acts 3. They exercised their faith and God ushered them into the realm of the anointing. By faith
they reached one person. Through the anointing they touched the multitudes.
Act 5:14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they brought the
sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.
NKJV
Much is being said and written today on the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It is cause for rejoicing as we
hear of many examples of people being transformed into new creations in Christ Jesus. The infilling of the
Holy Spirit is sent into the life of the Christian believer so that he/she might be an anointed witness of the
truth, “as it is in Jesus” (Ephesians 4:21 ). Without the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit in us ~ and upon us ~
our Christianity will be limited to a “mechanical operation” devoid of God’s life and power. We must be
reminded that it is one thing to start off in this new life in the Holy Spirit ~ it is entirely another thing to
continue on in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
It is important for us as Holy Spirit-filled Christians to recognize the anointing. To accept everything that
is preached and done as being “anointed of God” would be folly indeed. We must face up to the realities of
the times in which we are living and know the spirit that is motivating the words and the deeds in our
midst.
The anointing of the Holy Spirit will not justify anything in our lives that is not of God ~ either personal or
traditional ~ and therefore we should carry an earnest desire to walk in the anointing at all times. The
anointing is the quickening (the “making alive”) of God’s Holy Spirit within us to make REAL the words
and deeds of Jesus to others. For this to happen through us, we must first learn to recognize when God is
revealing His Word and Works to us. He does this by His Spirit, the anointing. The Bible says:
Acts 10:38 , NKJV. “. . . God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing
good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him”
This verse tells us what Jesus was anointed with ~ the Holy Spirit and power. It tells us what He was
anointed for ~ to go about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil. The authority
behind the things He did was ~ “for God was with Him.”
Holy Spirit-filled Christians are people who have received the same Holy Spirit that Acts 10:38 tells us
of (there is no other Holy Spirit). Jesus returned to His Father in order that the Holy Spirit of God could be
sent unto us (John 16:7-15), and to empower our lives for His service. Once the Holy Spirit of God comes
upon to us, our first priority in life should be to allow Him to take control ~ of us! For when He is in control
we will naturally go about doing good, bringing healing and deliverance to the oppressed, and setting the
captives free from the subtleties of Satan. Our authority is in the knowledge (by the Holy Spirit and
confirmed by the Word) that GOD IS WITH US! Let that authority get you into action for the Glory of God!
How often do we Christians have wonderful theories and belief systems (and can talk for hours about
them) – but in the moment of battle, when they really need to be tested and proven to the glory of God –
we are not even prepared to put them to the test? We are guilty of simply “reading the recipe” but not
“producing the cake!”
4
We also see here that it is possible to have the best of training and equipment that one needs for the army
of the Lord, but unless the ones trained and “wearing the uniform” are prepared to accept the challenges
the enemy brings against us, we will never know the true power of the God we serve to deliver us from all
our foes. If we Christians are not convinced within ourselves that JESUS CHRIST AND HIS WORD are the
greatest and most effective way of life for all humanity today, then our message and presentation will be
weak and ineffective. And weak and ineffective messages do not produce MEN OF GOD!
“Disturb me Lord, when my dreams come true, but only because I dreamed too small.
Disturb me Lord, when I arrive safely, but only because I sailed too close to the shore.
Disturb me Lord, when the things I have gained have caused me to lose my desire for more of You.
Disturb me Lord, when I have acquired success, but then have lost my desire for ongoing excellence.
Disturb me Lord, when I give up too soon and then settle too far short of the goals You have set for my life.”
We will rise no higher in life than to that for which we can personally believe. May your future be as
bright as the promises of God!
