3. take accurate client’s body measurements; and
4. apply and observe standard in taking body measurements.

STANDARD dressmaking/tailoring.
B. The learner independently carries out measurements and calculations based on job

Direction: Study once again the Measurements Needed in Dressmaking. Fill in the
table with appropriate measurements that fall under each category. The first one is
done for you!

Direction: Familiarize the body measurements needed. With a help of your
classmate, take your body measurements using the English System and Metric
System. Record them using Measurement Chart below.
