3. Aims:
Knowledge: Help students to understand vocabulary in context related to topic
music and appreciate different music genres.
Skills: Help students practice listening through listening for main ideas,
identifying key information ; express their opinions about music preferences by
applying what they have learnt from the exercises.
Behaviors: Students participate in active listening, engagement with the
material individually and discussing respectfully about their music preferences,
etc.
4. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students are expected to be able to:
Knowledge: Develop vocabulary and understand daily conversation talking
about music as well as identify different music genres and understand their
characteristics.
Skills: Develop listening skills to understand what native speakers said in a
conversation about music, utilize listening comprehension techniques in
listening skills.
Behaviors: Engage actively in listening tasks (individually); gain ideas and
expressions to participate in peers/class discussions about music (peers &
group works).
5. Methodology
Communicative Language Teaching (CLT): fostering interaction among students
during listening activities and discussions about music preferences.

7. Evaluation (1’):
Monitor students' participation and comprehension during listening activities.
Provide feedback on answers and encourage students to ask questions for
clarification.
Count students’ bonuses and give a present (notebook, pen, pencil) for one student
who collects the highest bonuses.

Review: 10 new words in the lesson which appear in the listening exercise,
