now become responsibility of the Provincial Governments. The Government of Sindh restructured the
institutions responsible for curriculum development. As a result, the Provincial Curriculum Wing has been
established headed by the chief Curriculum Advisor in the School Education
& Literacy Department. The Bureau of Curriculum and Extension Wing has been retitled as Directorate
of Curriculum, Assessment & Research situated in Jamshoro. This Directorate has been working closely
with the Sindh Textbooks Board and Directorate of School Education in Sindh for curriculum
development and its effective implementation. Curriculum development process is quite complex,
however, for developing better understanding it is simplified as follows:

DAY-08
Reflection on “Alignment of Textbooks with Curriculum (English, Science
and Mathematics)”
On this eighth day of the training, I have no idea about curriculum or alignment of textbook. I
feel very good to know about the alignment of textbook with curriculum with the help of MTs
I am able to understand many things about this topic. When I was in primary school teachers
don’t follow the national ad provisional curriculum. Teachers just want to complete the
course; I think there is lack of knowledge that SLOs should be followed through benchmark
to achieve objectives. Now when we teach our students with alignment of educational books
with curriculum, I hope result will be different. Our group presented the SLO of Science
Subject given below;

moment that I spend here. That was a excellent platform for

learning. I have learned many tools and techniques for

teaching and will implement those methods in class and

school, so that desired outcomes can be achieved. Before

training, I was in doubt that how will I manage my class?

And have can I be a good teacher? But after this training I

am fully confident that I can do my best to achieve that goal

and INSHA-ALLAH I will try my best to overcome all the

situations and problems.

Our MTs were very cooperative to us, they deliver there

knowledge in a proper way that we got the clear picture of

this training.
