Present Tenses
1.)Simple Present:
Form: [Base form of verb]
Usage: Talks about things that happen regularly or facts.
讨论经常发生的事情或事实。
Example: "I walk to school every day." 我每天步行去学校。
2.)Present Continuous:
Form: [am/is/are + verb+ing]
Usage: Talks about things happening right now. 讨论正在
发生的事情。
Example: "I am walking to school right now." 我现在正在
步行去学校。
3.)Present Perfect:
Form: [have/has + past form of verb]
Usage: Talks about things that happened at some time
before now and are important now. 讨论在某个时间发生且
对现在有影响的事情。
Example: "I have walked to school." 我已经步行去学校了。
2.)Past Continuous:
Form: [was/were + verb+ing]
Usage: Talks about things that were happening at a
specific time in the past. 讨论在过去某个特定时间正在发生
的事情。
Example: "I was walking to school when it started
raining." 当开始下雨时,我正在步行去学校。
3.)Past Perfect:
Form: [had + past form of verb]
Usage: Talks about things that happened before another
past event. 讨论在另一个过去事件之前发生的事情。
Example: "I had walked to school before it started
raining." 在开始下雨之前,我已经步行去学校了。

Form: [will be + verb+ing]
Usage: Talks about things that will be happening at a
specific time in the future. 讨论在将来某个特定时间正在发
生的事情。
Example: "I will be walking to school at 8 AM tomorrow."
我明天早上8点会在步行去学校。
3.)Future Perfect:
Form: [will have + past form of verb]
Usage: Talks about things that will be finished before a
specific time in the future. 讨论在将来某个特定时间之前将
会完成的事情。
Example: "I will have walked to school by 9 AM
tomorrow." 到明天早上9点,我将已经步行去学校了。
Active Voice
In active voice, the subject does the action.
It's like saying who does what.
Example:
"John (subject) bought (action) a car (object)."
"Mary (subject) is painting (action) a picture
(object)."
Passive Voice
In passive voice, the action happens to the
subject.
It's like saying what happens to something or
someone.
Structure:
Formed with "to be" + past participle of the
main verb.
Example:
"The car (object) was bought (action) by John
(who did it)."
"The picture (object) is being painted (action)
by Mary (who is doing it)."
