Section A

Instructions: This section has a scenario. Read carefully before answering the subsequent
questions. There are 4 questions in this section. All questions are compulsory. Each question
has 3 or 2 options. Choose ONLY ONE option which you consider the most appropriate and
mark it on the answer sheet given to you.
Marks: 10

As a Sub-Inspector of Police, Harman Singh saw a wrongly parked car outside a mall in the city. The car
belonged to a well-known local politician and the driver threatened the inspector of terrible consequences if
the car was towed. But the inspector took the decision to tow the car and give the driver a fine, even though
he knew he may get a “punishment posting” for this act.
