Handbooks of Logic
Handbook of Logic in Computer Science
The Handbook of Logic in Computer Science is a multi-volume work covering all
major areas of the application of logic to theoretical computer science. The Handbook
comprises six volumes. Each volume contains five or six chapters, giving an in-depth
overview of one of the major topics in the field. It is the result of many years of co-
operative effort by some of the most eminent frontline researchers in the area. It will
no doubt be the standard reference work in logic and theoretical computer science for
years to come, and should be essential reading for all those interested in theoretical
computer science and logic.

Enquiries and Orders

Enquiries about the Handbook series, or information regarding orders can be answered
by Jane Spurr at Imperial College (js@doc.ic.ac.uk).
Could colleagues urge their libraries to order the Handbook. Oxford University
Press is a non-profit making University publisher who is publishing the Handbook
series at a loss, and early orders will have the good psychological effect which we
hope will result in an early paperback edition.
