navigate a complex global landscape, education becomes the


key to not just reading words but understanding the values that
bind societies together.
In line with DepEd Memorandum 001, s. 2024, which outlines the
Implementation of Catch-Up Fridays, and Division Memorandum No.
020, s. 2024, concerning the Adoption of the Policy on Catch-Up
Fridays, the Maybatang Elementary School is undertaking a project
known as PROJECT I.G.N.I.T.E: Inspiring Growth, Nurturing Imagination,
And Transforming Education. This initiative is aligned with the Eight-
Point Socioeconomic Agenda and the MATATAG Education Agenda, both
aiming to cultivate competent, job-ready, active, and responsible
citizens. The primary goal of PROJECT I.G.N.I.T.E is to enhance
foundational skills in reading, social interaction, ethics, and other
pertinent abilities essential for the comprehensive development of
learners, in accordance with the principles of lifelong learning.
The proponent will facilitate and develop together with the
intermediate-level teachers stories anchored on themes in
Values and Peace Education: Gratitude, Optimism, and
th
Nationalism across the 4 quarter which will be written in Filipino
and English language with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI),
fun-based activities, and Catch – up Fridays Plan suited for the
intermediate learners. Also, the proponent will facilitate the
conduct of quality assurance of the said reading materials.
C. OBJECTIVES This activity aims to:
1. develop story reading materials anchored on the themes of
Values and Peace Education; Gratitude, Optimism, and
Nationalism & Catch Up Fridays Plan;
2. improve the foundational skills in reading, social, and other
relevant skills;
3. ensure the AI implementations align with organizational values and
