2. ACADEMIC COUNCIL MEETING

Academic Council meeting was held on 8th June 2024 with following eminent educationalists and industrialists
who offered excellent suggestions to enhance the educational standard at international level. The discussion
took place from 10.30 am to 01.30 pm.

3. AICTE DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP (ADF)

Faculty Members and Students are informed to apply for this Research fellowship leading to the degree of
Doctor of Philosophy
1. ADF is to promote the quality in Research (Ph.D.) in the field of Engineering & Technology / Management /
Design/ Planning / Applied Arts, Crafts and Design / Hotel Management and Catering Technology /
Computer Application
2.The Candidate must be admitted to Ph.D. in AICTE approved institution.
3. Fellowships are (a) Junior research fellowship (JRF) and (b) Senior research fellowship (SRF)
4. The amount of fellowship will be Rs. 37,000/- pm for JRF and Rs. 42,000/- pm for SRF.
5. No dearness allowance
6. HRA allowed
7. 30 days leave per year
8. Duration: 5 Years
9. Age limit: 30 years
10. Contingency Grant limited to Rs. 15,000/- per year to
meet the miscellaneous expenditures related to research work.
11. Fellowship application throughout the year.

4. OFFICE OF THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The Office of International Relations, Vel Tech has proudly advanced to the next level by signing
Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 193 top universities worldwide. The current 2023-24
academic year saw significant progress with the signing of 16 MoUs. The office is diligently working to achieve
substantial growth in the upcoming 2024-25 academic year.

The talks have been going with Top ranked Universities globally for making possible collaborative activities
like twinning program, Joint/Dual Degree, Academic and Research Collaborations to bolster the future of
faculty and students which will reflect ins the substantial growth of Vel Tech.

message

• The scientists have external vision whereas the saints have inner vision.
• Science is just like letter C with a gap between two ends. Spirituality is like the letter O
complete without any gap.
• Bend the body, mend the senses, and the mind.
• Where there is faith, there is devotion.
Where there is devotion, there is purity.
Where there is purity, there is God.
Where there is God there is bliss.
• People nowadays suffer from many diseases due to the strain that they cause to the mind. It is
restless mind that causes many diseases; mind gets best rest when it is merged with divinity.
• Love is God, live with love as love increases body attachments decrease.
• It is like seesaw when you go towards God you achieve balance if you harbour evil and impure
thoughts your intellect instead of knowing skill may kill.
• Manava Seva is Madhava Seva.
• There are many non-believers of God who were ruined in life. But there are none who believed
and failed in life.
• God cannot be seen in the external world. It should be experienced only in once heart.
• I prescribed five duties- good vision, good thoughts, listening to good things, good actions, and
good speech.
• Every man’s heart is the dwelling place of God.
• The earliest path to self-realisation is the surrender of the ego. Do not put your tiny ego
against the ALMIGHTY. Leave it to HIS will and you will have lasting peace.
• Man is misusing the talents given to him by the divine. He is giving free vent to lust, anger, and
greed.
• Speaking truth is a supreme virtue.
• It is a mark of ignorance to expect that some other person will give you happiness. Develop
happiness within your mind.
