In pursuance of Postal Directorate letter No. A-34012/02/2024-Db date

10.07.2024, the notification for Limited Departmental Competitive Examinatio"
promotion to the cadre of Postman from eligible MTS was issued vide this office letter No
ADPS/CON/2-13/2024/Postman dated 12.07.2024
2 As per schedule announced, the examination for Paper-1, Paper-I1& Paper-l wa
conducted on 25.08.2023 and Paper-IV (DEST) was conducted on 25.09.2025 ror u
recruitment year 2024 at three Examination Centers viz. Jammu, Srinagar &Ladakh.
3. As per Postal Directorate letter no. 03-03/2019-SPN-I (Pt) dated 12.06.2024, the
unfilled vacancies of Postman cadre for the vear 2023 has been included into vacancy
available
position of Postman cadre for the vacancy year 2024 and accordingly as per
vacancy position reported by divisions, the tentative vacancy of MTS to Postman cadre was
issued vide this notification no. even dated 12.07.2024.

4. Thereafter, the additional vacancies in Postman cadre have been occurred due to
promotion of Postman cadre oficials into PA/SA cadre after the declaration of result of
LGO Examination 2024. The resultant final vacancies of MTS to Postman cadre for the year
2024 are as under: -

5. As per Postal Directorate letter No. 17-08/2018-SPN-Tdated 05.04.2022 and Jetter

no. 17-08/2018-SPN-I dated 19.12.2022,following parameters has been followed whilo
preparing the result of Postman cadre:
